crochet teapot have you a recipe for no knead bread?
You are doing well with the freezers, I have so got to start doing mine...it's that time of year when we eat from the freezer and there are often some very odd combinations presented for meals.0 -
Oh my, just went outside to put the windscreen cover on the car & it's freezing out! Coldest it's been so far! Glad I've put the cover on now!0

One freezer is nearly empty and that left can fit into the other whilst I defrost and clean the first. Ds is going on a play date most of next saturday so I'll be wrapping presents whilst the freezer defrosts. Once that's all done whatever is left in the 2nd freezer can be transferred and that one defrsted too. The oven needs doing too but will leave that until mid December.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

Oooh we have a frost.... So exciting and feels lovely and crisp for a change rather than soggy and murkey. Chickens had porridge this morning to warm their cockles and are now happily forraging away for morsels missed yesterday... Cuppa in hand and hot water bottie on knee... I'm a happy warm bunny xThriftkitten

stepped out the door onto decking and one foot went, was going slowly so no twists or anything, just a warning as it is oh so easy to dash out the back to the shed to fetch something in. We already have non slip mats on wooden treads and I have just ordered a non slip mat for part of the decking. We will keep it rolled up outside but will put it down if frost is forecast. Decking is lethal when frosted, it looks normal

Well I have been silly and accidentally left a large carrier bag full of neat ziplock bags of home frozen beans, on the floor, outside the garage freezer. So they are now spread on newspapers, ready for our compost bin. Drat but not double drat as tbh I was getting fed up of them and looking for ways to use them. I don`t get this problem with dehydrating so that will be my way in future and I`ll only be growing a few not a lot
It is going to be a beautiful day and washing is on. Hope everyone was safe when emerging from their homes this morning0 -
It's typical as we have workmen here on the first very cold day and they have to keep going in and out of the front door and making the house feel colder.:D The cats are shut outside in the garden and they are not amused.0

It's been a beautiful day today. Apologies for throwing the thread off kilter. I'm not really a bad person. I suffer from depression and anxiety and have the social skills of a squashed tomato.
I wont be posting again. It's not for me.0 -
Bless you LAVANDULA ROSEMARY, please stay with us, we're all prepping for the same reasons, you too love, so stay even if you only read along. Depression and anxiety are hard enough to cope with, on your own is impossible and I've known some very nice squashed tomatoes in my time!!! Lyn xxx.0

^^^ What Lyn saidI suffer with D & A too and have been known to jump into the odd argument because of it
Always worth checking out the mood of a board/page/group though... Some can take lots of discussion/debate and others just don't warrant itSome of the FB groups I belong to are pretty fiery but no offense is taken by the regulars although I have seen plenty of newbies jump ship as they think everyone is rude/offensive :rotfl: It's about knowing what is appropriate for that particular 'place'.
Changing the subject entirely, but still a winter thingI have discovered that I can make awesome chicken soup! I have a stomach bug and didn't dare have proper dinner so I made it this evening and I have fallen in love with it so much I am going to make it again tomorrow
It will be handy to freeze a few portions so I don't have the bother of making it if/when I get sick again.
