Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but i got a lidl leaflet through my door today, and it says from Monday 8th Oct, they will be doing Draught excluders (various colours/designs) for £3.99 each, Rubber seal (the for around the windows, not a rubber seal for the bath, lol), £1.99 per pack, and radiator bleeders, £3.99 :)

anyone on here know how long freezer will be ok for as im getting a re wire in about 3 weeks... they say its gonna be done inside a day (8-3ish they say) will this be ok for all my frozen stuff?

Providing that you keep the door/lid firmly closed and don't go in there you should be alright.

Today I have blitzed the house, moved furniture vacc'ed the curtains, done four loads of washing including throws (all out on the line and dried) and the place sparkles.

Tomorrow I will wash the door mats and get those out then that is another job crossed off the list.

When I had my kitchen done, I set up a very long extension lead between here & my neighbours & used that for my freezer :D

I wanted some very cheap ugg-type boots just for popping out to nursery / playgroup etc. ended up in primarni. Their cheapest at £5 did to me look very cheap, but the £8 ones with the fur trim seem ok. So I've nabbed me a pair. Very snug they are too...

Also found DD some very small magic gloves. She is 2, and the baby mitts are too small but the other girls gloves seem to swamp her. Anyway, BHS had them in packs of two for £3.50.

We have been quite cosy so far, radiator reflector sheets, fleeces up at the windows, thermal vests and lots of layers.

I have a few more things to organise, but I have a week off work soon, so will catch up then.

i was in edinburgh earlier this week and i grabbed 2 of Primarks £5 oh so 'stroke me' soft leopard print fleeces for the our laps and whilst watching telly... oh they are soooo lovely, i highly reccomend them.

they appear to be of the same type of fleece that my fav dressing down is made from so i know they won't stay this soft forever but i also know how warm this dressing gown is from experience! the size is (off the top of my head) 150cm x 125cm so a decent size

wouldn't use these for lining curtains as there are cheaper to be had for that purpose but if you just want something lovely to snuggle with or want to convert a family member to the joy of fleece then i'd def recommend them!

and primark does indeed still have tons of the mens fleecy all in ones, found a tiger one i really liked but after a quick look at the largest one i realised it wasn't worth trying on it was going to be way too long and tight around the bum... i do wish primark would do plus sizes, i think i'd be in heaven if they did :p
