Good morning, and what a lovely morning it is too, the suns shining and the birds are singing.

Sorry to all those that cant sleep, must be terrible feeling groggy.

Kids are off to my sisters tomorrow for the weekend (yippee) and I havent anything planned for my freedom. They were supposed to last weekend and I had booked time out with friends, typical innit. I'm sure I will find something exciting to do.

The two giant tigers I offered on freecycle are STILL here, I'm going to have to deliver them. I'm all for freecycle but hate it when people dont turn up.

Well must get ready for work I suppose. Have a good day everyone and enjoy the lovely sunshine if it shining over you.

Good Morning all you lovely Old Stylers! Another
    :A Huge Thank You :A
to everyone who's supporting me or someone else in the Race for Life. My second target was reached, and overtaken, last night - within 12 hours of my registering. Need to change my sig again. I will be replying personally to each and every one of you, so please bear with me. In the meantime a big virtual :grouphug: and :kisses:

Off to collect a Freecycled blind for my kitchen - it matches one I have, and is the perfect size for my awkward shaped window. I'm also digging up some plants for Freecyclers to take, and they're bringing me some strawberry plants, and a cardoon   It's a bit like a huuuuuge decorative thistle.

The weather forecast is still set fair, so we have the tents from the loft to set off to North Yorkshire tomorrow.

My friend goes into hospital today, and we have her daughter staying. Hope everything goes OK - her DH will be ringing me later.

Have a fab day, Penny. x

We aim to go shopping for some plants (ut you know that anyhow) and then look for some cheaper easter eggs for a hunt, even the really little ones are so much money. Hi everyone,

Well this morning I have made an executive decision and I am not going to take the kids today. It will cost me their fees for today ( they are routinely booked in at half terms because of our working pattern) but I quite honestly can't face it . OH was allowed to walk me to the entrance so they can come up with me and see their dad and hopefully we can sit on the benches just outside the front door with him.

I need to stop off on the way back to get some slug pellets and a trowel as I can't find ours and over the weekend the kids can help me !!!!! (it won't let me say that word) pric (phoenetic) out the seedlings, plant the sweet peas and plant the bulbs.

I need to try and forecast our budget for the next 3 months based on whatever we are told today (hopefully). I will see if I can get that done tonight.

Anyway going to make everyone brekki and then the 1st bus to the hosi goes at 9.20.

4326wbt.jpgbig hugs to everyone in need today,

    See you all later,

    Smoky. xxxx

  • Morning All :hello:

I was awake unusually early today as well, think I caught the "MSE bug" that seems to be going round!!

Anyway had a good day yesterday, the sun eventually came out and I got the sheets dry and the coats. I also cleaned my oven - I ended up getting the wallpaper stripper in there to steam some of it off!!

The sun is shining here today!! Plan for today is put washing out when it finished, go to dentist to have filling  and all being well ex-OH is taking us out for a meal tonight (don't know what that is all in aid of but hey if I don't have to cook or wash up for a night I ain't gonna complain :rotfl: )

Going to start my spring clean tomorrow, so going to have a lazy day to conserve my energy for tomorrow!!

Have a lovely day and Hugs to all those that want/need them

    Morning :hello:

((((Hugs)))) to everybody who needs one. I wonder why there are so many insomniacs around here... do you think it's a result of being an Old Styler, or a cause? :rotfl:

I sleep OK most of the time. Last night I know I had a weird dream but can't remember any of the details, other than it being about church

Must be off to work in just a minute, it's the last working day of the week, and it has just occurred to me that as it is the school holidays the bus to work should be slightly more pleasant than usual, so I think I will be lazy and forego my morning walk ;) I've left it a bit late to set off on foot!

This evening I will be at church - I have choir practice at 6:45 and service at 8. Maundy Thursday is my favourite service of the whole year.

Ooooh, guess what, I haven't touched this week's budget yet :T - haven't spent anything for 3 days, apart from my singing lesson on Tuesday which of course comes from a different budget so I see it as paying a bill. I suspect I'll spend quite a bit this evening though as the choir always seem to end up going to Wetherspoons for a curry after Maundy Thursday service. Also have some things I need to buy that can't wait much longer - am almost out of deodorant and the batteries for the TV remote are on the way out.

BTW, I made that coconut chicken last night and it was  - recipe is v. simple - 4 chicken breasts, 1.5 cups double cream, 1 tin coconut milk, 1 tbsp curry powder, 1tsp brown sugar. Coat the chicken breasts in the curry powder, then fry them. Meanwhile, gently heat the cream, coconut milk and sugar in a saucepan. When the chicken breasts are ready and the sauce is well combined, add the sauce to the frying pan, cover and simmer for 3 mins. Serve with rice

Right, time I wasn't here - have a great day everybody

    Rzl xx
