Took DD(13) to get a new hairstyle this morning.

When I got home the six preserving jars had arrived from lakeland so I made two jars of elderberry tincture and four jars of elderberry extract.

DD has baked a coffee cake for after tea which will be quiche and salad.

Washing is on the line and dishes are in the DW!

We had a trip to the HB office this morning with a whole load of papers with the various details that the dept required. We had to queue for over 2 hours before we were seen, but were told that once we have actually moved in and the HB has recieved confirmation of our move they will process the claim......and also deal with the CT benefit. I was exhausted when we got out and in dire need of some form of liquid. If I had known we were going to have to wait so long I would have taken my lunch!!!!!

Today the post had a bill for £309 for water..........I am still waiting for the leakage from when they mended the leaks last December. I contacted offwatt sometime ago, and when I phoned they too had requested paperwokr, but had not recieved it, why am I not suprised?????

WE are waiting for the carpenter to come and shave the dorrs.

Last night I put the carpet and wall cupboards on freecycle, so far I have had 13 people asking for them.........just trying to make up my mind who the lucky people are going to be.

Right off to line the kitchen cupboards with some old vynal wall paper I found in our loft...............see y'all...................
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    Hellooooooooooooo :hello: :D

I'm off work til the 16th april woohoo-smiley.gif I don't usually go to the office on mondays so I'm actually back on the 17th, just need to have the phone on on the monday to take any calls :D Mr tru's off too - not sure how I feel about that :rotfl:

I feel a bit lost, it's the first day of the Easter hols for miss tru and she's round at a friends house - for the night :T And master tru rushed in from work, got changed and ran back out again - he'll probably stay at a mates house too cos he's got no work tomorrow. I was stood there going "BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR TEA? I have pizzas, spag bol, cheesey mash, curries and a couple of pies in the freezer, you were supposed to choose but you want nothing???" So I have half an hour to kill. Where's me fags? More importantly - where's me bacardi? :D

Kyle - we did the controlled crying thing with dd, it only took 2-3 days, just remember to warn your neighbours!

Well good and bad news here, kitchen looks lovely, dw plumbed in and cooker but no hob! - they dont have the correct adapter and now nothing will be done till Tues. So will have to think carefully and do stuff in the microwave and oven.

Anyway has been gorgeous day, went over the park with loads of kids for a couple of hours and can feel that ive caught the sun on my face - fingers crossed it lasts all weekend.
