Regular oil changes with a decent quality oil? Did the previous owner thrash it to death from cold every morning?

Or not let it cool down after driving on boost. What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
Had a very obvious warranty issue with my car, same thing, dragged it out with the usual wear and time BS, eventually after wasting months of my time on this and can STILL sitting in the garage. Therefore I opened up a case with the Ombudsman and after another year of there side my side etc I was awarded a full payment from Momentum along with interest and compensation. DO NOT USE MOMENTUM AT ANY COST!0

Just to reinforce Darren's comment from the last post and keep the thread alive
In particular
Warwick Smith who signed the letter I provided a link to
Tom Reid who is an area manager
Do not buy Momentum warranties - save yourself money and insure yourself
Since I posted this 3 years ago I have been inundated with people reporting similar experiences. If you have had similar experiences then reply to this thread with your story and the site will stay just below momentum themselves in any google search results. If you are thinking of buying a used car and are offered a Momentum Warranty then tell the dealer no thanks and invite him to do a Google search and read this thread.0 -
remember to read their ridiculous letter at oldcoach dot plus dot com
and, having read Warwick Smith's comment about FSA regulation along with the statement about FSA regulation at the bottom of the letter, does that read like misrepresentation to you??0 -
Got a grudge?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

Scumbags basically, they return contact via letter. You can't speak to anyone about your issues on the phone, very abrupt and discourteous, because they are just criminals.0

Hi mate, how do you go about contacting the ombudsman etc,as I have been fleeced by these Scumbags for over £1000 worth of Repair?0

Seems I too have been hit by this situation:
12 year old vehicle, purchased 4 months ago from a dealership who took out the policy on my behalf, as part of the car package.
I've driven the car for for less than 1000 miles, and been told the fault is due to excessive driving, and wear / tear. Bill £1700.
We purchased the car for £3500.0 -

It’s a 12 year old car and things will have worn and will need replacing a warranty would never cover these. Looks like the dealer managed to get a few more £££ from you. What is the car/fault?0 -
Yoms, it doesn't necessarily mean you who has done the excessive driving. It is most likely to have been a previous owner. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
