I know how you feel  DS3 and 4 have repeatedly left tents at download fest over the past few years now
DS4 has been to Amsterdam twice this year and he decided to bring the tent home :T no doubt it will get left there at New Year when he is going back
Ive often thought there must be so many things left behind at festivals, I wish I could go and scavenge for tents and stuff!
I saw a broken unberella the other day (one of those really big ones with about 10 sections all a different rainbow colour) and thought I could make some bunting with it. My OH refused to stop the car and said that would be even more embarassing than skip diving:(
...just imagine how much bunting I could make out of a few left behind/broken tents, they come in such lovely colours nowadays too!:rotfl:0 -

Right, kettles boiled, really am moving now. Shall be back at half 12 for the Mars giveaway though
My OH (and her mum) are mega book readers. When the opportunity arose to get a kobo free witht he WHS glitch a while back (is that still working by the way? lol) they both ummed and arred in the same way. They did eventually take the plunge and both love them and wouldn't part with them for the world.0 -

Have found some old vit c chewy tablets in the cupboard so I'll be adding that to the Don Simon I've been taking.
I've had a lot of trouble with my asthma recently including being prescribed steroids, multiple courses of antibiotics (3 different types I've tried now as amoxycillin aren't having an effect) and a new stronger inhaler. I've not been told about ibuprofen so I might ask the doc next time I'm in. It seems the slightest whiff of germs and I get an infection.
Away to catch up but I think it's a hopeless taskMuch love to the ducks as surely they're the only ones enjoying the miserable weather. Hugs to all those loaded with colds - I can sympathise. Just waiting for the kids to get it now as well
Hope you feel better, I have seen what my sister goes through with the Asthma. it's awful..I feel for you..:)
I wish people wouldn't send their ill kids to school with germs, then my girls get ill and it's passed on to me & the baby..
I have spinal problems and i'm a lone parent, if I get ill, I can't walk, I couldn't move for 3 days last week..I have great difficulty looking after my lot when ill..:(
Anyway feel better now thankfully, I just wish some people could be a little more thoughtful sometimes
Hope you feel better soon..:)I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0 -

From what DS3 told me, some on gathers them up at DownLoad and they are sent to third somewhere. I did however see on fleabay a couple of months ago, tents being sold that had infact been collected up and the money is going to third world (not really sure if I believe that)There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -
