DOnt know if this has been mentioned by anyone but my local express had reduced fry light down to 59p.Will def only be in specific stores as I checked a couple of others and didn't have it but gd to use with fry light 50p voucher if you have any in stores near you. I use it for greasing baking tins for cakes etc.

Thanks, I'll keep an eye out

Did the other stores not have it at all or did they not have it at 59p?

    Hi wookeyhole1

    Is it the bertolli olive oil spread 1kg £3.22 (A v T)

    What does it compare at?

    Thank you xx

hiya, that is the spread but its a AvM shop that was found on a womble. it compares at £3.22/0.37 and then using the 50p coupons from the coupon thread makes them free! :j:j

I know how you feel  DS3 and 4 have repeatedly left tents at download fest over the past few years now
DS4 has been to Amsterdam twice this year and he decided to bring the tent home :T no doubt it will get left there at New Year when he is going back

i've had asthma for years. too many antibiotics don't work.

Vicks vapour rub on chest brings up carp. Then some ibuprofen and tough it out.

vitamin c is meant to help too.

    Afternoon

I still can't shake it off, had this 10 days now, at it's worst I wasn't able to stand, it affected my head which isn't good when you have a disc prolapse at C5-6..:(

Henlans try to sleep it off, don't know if you drink or smoke but that is the worst thing anyone can do when ill, oh, and leave the shopping :)

Big sis, 76 rosie , hope you are ok we love you, will save you some of the Jack Daniels I got in A's I know it's your favourite;)
I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...

I bought this around 3 months ago at that price. 1 local had it on sale the other was and always has been full price.

    Thankyou. :)

I was wondering about the Wotsits too, I quite like them. :D

Mr TS has just come back with the car so might give it a go anyway. ;)
  • My daughter has asthma and I get conflicting advise regarding Ibuprofen, one doctor prescribed it and another told me it should never be used if someone has asthma as it can cause problems. Vicks is great for bringing up the carp. They have just trebled my DD's steroids to try and bring hers under control.

I will look into the Vit C. Thank you, I know your post wasn't meant for me but I have found it really useful x

And this is why it peeves me when people bring their pretty obvious germs into work  I've had to stay at home today as I'm loaded with a cold/flu and alternating between sweats/shivers and bunged/runny. Have found some old vit c chewy tablets in the cupboard so I'll be adding that to the Don Simon I've been taking.

I've had a lot of trouble with my asthma recently including being prescribed steroids, multiple courses of antibiotics (3 different types I've tried now as amoxycillin aren't having an effect) and a new stronger inhaler. I've not been told about ibuprofen so I might ask the doc next time I'm in. It seems the slightest whiff of germs and I get an infection.

Away to catch up but I think it's a hopeless task :( Much love to the ducks as surely they're the only ones enjoying the miserable weather. Hugs to all those loaded with colds - I can sympathise. Just waiting for the kids to get it now as well :(
