I'm trying to stay calm and not think about cigarettes!!
This whole family thing is driving me insane, just spoken to my mum and there is a viewing at my grandad's today, there was one yesterday also.
I don't want some strangers treading around his house whilst his stuff is still there, god I am trying so hard not to scream!!

I think I might just have to be there later on when the viewers turn up and act all suprised.
Oh and the reason it's still on the market is my stupid cowbag of an Aunty applied for Probate and got it - done behind my mum and uncles back.

Remain calm ,the thought and desire to smoke should pass quickly when you find ' your calm spot '

Yes I see what you mean. :)
That is gonna cause a few headaches working out  but could be worth it. :D

I understand what the op is trying to do but don't see the logic of buying something on offer at A's to reduce the APG....Kinda defeats the object!!:D

please correct me i'm wrong but I'm convinced that when the majority of the posters on this thread shopped at T's there wasn't post and posts of shopping iist after shopping list , now with people changing their alligiance to Asda for a brief moment it seems as though posting a list of a shopping is a requirement to a reply .

Is there any reason behind this ?

    Just wondering . :)

    Hi fourp

Peeps do post shopping list after shopping list for the equivalent T jtd shops, it's just that they have a separate thread specifically for this on Grabbit, so you probably don't see them? A similar separate thread was requested for APG but it has not been allowed, and I am not sure where else on MSE folk can/should go for help and input on this. So I think for the duration of the glitch it will remain here, unless MSE can reconsider and allow a thread on Grabbit. Over exposure is hardly an issue any longer and would not be a driver for MSE, so there are other reasons for the decision.

I think it is important for MSEers to be able to get help on this as it can and does make a very real difference to peeps grocery bills when many are struggling. It won't last forever .......
  • Didn't she need permission from your mum and uncle to apply for probate. I can forsee problems in the future hun.

As she is being so arrogant about the arrangements hasn't your mum and uncle challenged her about it. I would say tackle her now, or she will dispose of everything behind your backs. (I know someone this happened to).

    CWxx

Nope you don't need permission to apply for probate as usually people are aware if someone is going for it so can be there to contest if needed. What a stupid rule that is.

Oh she was tackled, but to be honest she's not all there, she denies things, blames the fact that she's blind (registered) and can't see what she's throwing away - well don't bloody throw it away then!! She just rants away about anything and everything that's not even relevant and nothing gets solved.
I for one will never have anything to do with her again.

Oh Magic how terrible - I don't know anything about probate but you should try and get your mum and uncle to seek some advice - most solicitors have 30 mins or so free - then they will be able to gauge if anything can be done. Can you get some purr therapy from Percy to take your mind of the cigarettes, thinking of you hun

Thanks for this, is it the £1.15 triple stripe toothpaste that is the trigger for this and buy 1 trigger + 2, 5 items?
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Thanks dreamerbea - my uncle is going to speak to his solictor friend and see what can be done.

Sadly no purr therapy at the moment, I'm at work (not that you'd think it :rotfl:) And no help from anyone here as most of them need therapy themselves!
But I'm going to listen to the wise words of fourp, think of the support of you guys and go and get a latte and eat my little Snickers peanut butter square that someone bought back from America for me! And breathe... :)
    Thank you xxx

I don't think the APG thread wasn't allowed, what wasn't allowed was 2 chat threads going on in the gone section....

I can see no reason why an APG thread can't be started in Grabbit!?
