I'm trying to stay calm and not think about cigarettes!!
This whole family thing is driving me insane, just spoken to my mum and there is a viewing at my grandad's today, there was one yesterday also.
I don't want some strangers treading around his house whilst his stuff is still there, god I am trying so hard not to scream!!

I think I might just have to be there later on when the viewers turn up and act all suprised.
Oh and the reason it's still on the market is my stupid cowbag of an Aunty applied for Probate and got it - done behind my mum and uncles back.

Didn't she need permission from your mum and uncle to apply for probate. I can forsee problems in the future hun.

As she is being so arrogant about the arrangements hasn't your mum and uncle challenged her about it. I would say tackle her now, or she will dispose of everything behind your backs. (I know someone this happened to).

I think I may have come up with a way to still get lots of really reduced goods with the APG system but remain under the £15 limit.:)

I hope I can explain it ok!

This APG I got yesterday started me thinking me thinking.
    Why £17.48?

9 items (7 different) on your bill qualify for comparison ASDA Waitrose
    +£17.02

    1 x Ambrosia Rice Pudding Original (120g) £0.38 £0.32
    1 x Heinz Five Beanz in Tomato Sauce (415g) £0.84 N/A
    1 x Pedigree Meaty Loaf with Tripe Original (400g) £0.58 £0.60
    1 x Iams Adult Large Dog Food Chicken (3Kg) £9.58 £0.32
    1 x Green's Egg Custard Mix (54g) £0.50 N/A
    1 x Finish Dishwasher Cleaner (250ml) £3.00 £0.32
    1 x Finish Shine & Dry Rinse Aid (400ml) £3.00 £0.32
1 x ASDA Mini Jacket Potatoes with Garlic & Thyme Butt... £1.50 N/A
    4 x ASDA Rollmops (260g) £4.00 N/A
    1 x ASDA Fresh Tastes Chunky Summer Vegetables (465g) £1.50 N/A
2 x ASDA Chosen by You Tomato Juice from Concentrate (... £2.00 £2.00
    2 x Flash Strong Weave Antibacterial Wipes (90) £3.00 £0.64

Comparison total (compared products only) £21.54 £4.52

I lost out on £2-48 because of the new capping.

But if I had bought these, (just for example)

    078363.jpg
ASDA Butcher's Selection British Sliced Chicken Breast Fillets (400g) £3.88 any 2 FOR £7.00

    Store_2.15px.png£3.88 any 2 FOR £7.00
    Store_7.15px.png£6.89 £4.59 Valid until: 09/10/2012

My APG would have been reduced by £2-18, and I would only have lost out on 20p.

So my theory is that it may be possible to get lots of the heavily reduced price items, on APG but then reduce the large voucher by buying items that you also need that are on offer in Asda but are more expensive in the store you want to compare with.

I hope this makes sense and would appreciate your views!!
    (Polite ones only, please!:D:D)

Yes I see what you mean. :)
That is gonna cause a few headaches working out  but could be worth it. :D

AvW this morning. APG of £14 odd generated.

1 x ASDA Chosen by You Wholegrain Scottish Porridge Oa... 0.65 0.39
2 x Robinsons Fruit & Barley, Peach with No Added Suga... 2.78 0.77
    2 x Anchor Butter (250g) 3.20 2.00
    1 x Finish Dishwasher Cleaner (250ml) 3.00 0.38
    1 x Finish Shine & Dry Rinse Aid (400ml) 3.00 0.39
    1 x ASDA Chosen by You Fresh Egg Tagliatelle (500g) 0.85 N/A
    1 x ASDA Fresh Double Cream (300ml) 1.00 1.05
    1 x Flash Spray with Bleach (500ml) 1.00 0.39
    2 x Flash Bathroom Spray (500ml) 2.00 0.77
    1 x Finish Protector (30g) 4.00 0.39

They were just changing the SEL of the porridge as I got to the cereal isle; marking the price up from 56p to 65p. Silly ASDA. As if it made any difference.

Good afternoon mad squad, whilst the above posts figures have slightly confused me the idea is good and I think I will have to think out my shopping list more carefully. Where before I would split things from my shop if I knew they would lower my APG it now seems I need to think about adding a few of these and then I can get more glitchy items in one shop. This should also help the shop cost/apg ratio so as not to stand out so much. Its a bit of a fine balancing act I guess.

I am glad my post has made some sense.:rotfl:

It will just take a bit more planning!:D

Nope, it's Newton Scabbot :j love shopping there, the trouts hate me and my vouchers and now they'll hate me even more, 1p items under the radar :p

Do you ever go there in the evenings? I used to go on a Wednesday and there were a few faces I'd see each week....wondering if one of them was you :)

There is one SA .....middle aged blonde lady who is the most miserable old trout I've ever come across. Even if it's normal shopping without a voucher in sight, she grunts and tuts the whole time she's serving you. Really shouldn't be front line as she's no people skills whatsoever. I've had her refuse to accept vouchers too so avoid her like the plague!

Where do you get these scanner things ? How long have they had them there?
I might just have to take a trip there tomorrow evening ;)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
