For the last 3 or 4 weeks whenever I have tried this service I get a DUN connection okay but then every request to any web site just times out.

Is it just me with this problem?

I get the same problem. I get a connection sometimes at 24k sometimes at 44k but when I type an URL, it times out, even for google.co.uk

Not only GeoISP seems to be gone, but BT on their 0121 number and UKonline on their geo number seemed to have gone also.

Hmmm...

So does anyone know what's happened?

Has BT killed off all the ISPs on geographic numbers with some sneaky trick that blocks data traffic on those numbers somehow?
