Hi, I have a tmobile vivacity at the moment and would like to buy a better smartfone. Is this huawei G300 a step up or a similar one ? There are so many around i dont know which to go for. Thank you.
Like I said earlier, you are perhaps in the enviable position of being able to sell your old phone and use the money to pay for a brand new (2 year warranty) G300 without adding any more money due to the offers highlighted on here. Bigger screen, better processor, Gorilla glass etc.0 -

Vivacity is a good, but not well known phone. I think it's almost impossible to make enough money from selling it for buying g300. The difference between Vivacity (=OSF2, 800Mhz) and g300 is even smaller than between the original OSF and g300.

I am surprised by £40+ at ebay (real bids), but no way amazon price can be used as a realistic estimation of the money you can get. And I've heard that it wasn't easy (if not impossible) to buy g300 for £45 at Tesco.0

The auction has almost 30 hours to go. But even if you have to put £15-£20 to get a G300 from Isme you are still getting a (slightly) better phone with a 2 year warranty. Has to be worth considering.0

To the OP.. is your Desire "rooted"?
If not I would strongly suggest doing that and trying a new ROM.. it will give your phone a new lease of life!0 -

This is unneccessary scare mongering.
Voda have repeated that ics is on the way when explaining the recent (pulled) ics was released in error.
This is from the voda forum posted by voda yesterday:The software updates posted to the Huawei site are not final versions and were added in error.........As soon as we have concrete timeframes for Huawei’s roll out of the final version, we will let our customers know0
