OK this is all getting really silly now. The lynchmob attitude is as unhelpful as DB's!
I need to clear some things up......
You need to understand that MSE is NOT the only forum where an anti-BeautyP discussion is going on. I am also being PMd by people on another forum who have had very similar experiences. Of the original forum thread where I first found out about BP, I would say about 50% of the people who put orders in got ripped off.
My issue is NOT with the Ebay aliases......like you say, the evidence linking them to BeautyP is somewhat sketchy.
What I AM collecting is a great deal of evidence about BeautyP and their business methods.
The problems cropping up with other people are thus:
1. They paid for their BeautyP order using a credit card and they did (sometimes) receive their full order, but are now worried because they did not pay using a secure server.
2. They paid for their BeautyP order using Paypal, and (like me) they received only half their order. How weird is it that everyone who paid by Paypal only got half their order? Not weird when you consider that receiving half an order does not constitute an offence under Paypal's Ts and Cs and leaves them immune from a Paypal investigation (Paypal will only investigate when 100% of the order goes missing).
So, I think they might have 2 ways of scamming people. 1 is that they could be harvesting credit card details (and in this case, it doesn't matter how small your order is - they've got your credit card details for future use). I have (admittedly circumstantial) evidence linking them to credit card selling sites.
The other is that they charge people for a full order, but only send some of the order out (if the buyer used Paypal to pay), thereby pocketing themselves a significant % profit on each order. It might only be £10 or £20 here and there, but from the people who've emailed me from other forums, we're talking about significant amounts of money overall.
As to whether or not she is up to no good on Ebay - well the evidence is quite patchy that it is the same woman, so it's not something I have been paying much attention to, but I'm open minded about it.
And the WOMAN IN ESSEX I POSTED A BBC LINK ABOUT IS NOT IN ANY WAY RELATED TO OUR DEAR FRIEND LOUISE OR !!!!!!!!!!!!. It was just an EXAMPLE of how the police can take these sorts of cases seriously if there is enough evidence.
I think this thread is best left to die a quiet death now. It's getting so long that people aren't bothering to read through it very diligently, which is leading to some silly misunderstandings.
It's going to take me a few months to get round to getting this all together as a viable case, and I'm having more surgery in August so I will probably not sort it all out properly until I have my 6 weeks off work after that.
In the meantime, if you've been ripped off by them, please PM me. If you haven't, then I think it is best to leave this thread alone to save it from getting too long.
I started this thread as someone with PMT who had been an eejit and was over-reacting and bit upset. I then gave BeautyP the benefit of the doubt. But then other things started coming out of the woodwork and it became obvious that there was something more dodgy going on. I've got better things to do with my time than chase after £14, but when there are many other people have lost similar amounts of money, I'm sorry but I feel like something should be done.
What are the other forums? Would you post a link to these please0 -
Erm...yes, Feesh, its disgusting. I hope your tears are drying up by now.

just want to congratulate everyone for ignoring the trolls that have shown up on the thread....keep up the good work everyone
Hopefully this thread will help to ensure people at least think twice about who they give their credit card details to.0 -

I agree on both counts!
I think we can sometimes be more complacent and trusting on the internet than IRL.
