Bathing in fairy liquid??

My darling hubby uses Radox if I buy it for him, but if we're out, he'll get bathed in fairy liquid (ignoring the Original Source stuff the Zest subscription generously sent me!). This seems like a crazy idea to me, but I was just wondering really if anyone knew if it was likely to do him any harm! I haven't really got a clue - anyone else know or want to make a guess??

It will probably dry his skin out a lot!

My dad used to use it with no problems. If you look at the ingredients lists of washing up liquid and bubble bath I would be surprised if they differ hugely.
Any sort of 'detergent' based soap will dry the skin.

And it will clean the bath at the same time. What more can you ask? :D

Washing up liquid is very drying to the skin. Its meant to cut baked on grease dont forget. I have used it in the past and we all had dry, flaky, itchy skin.

I use washing up liquid every couple of months on my hair, it takes off all the build up of gel/wax etc

I used to use this to wash my hands and someone told me it can cause some form of dermatitis and I now suffer with some form of it. I'm not actually saying this caused it but be careful
Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)

I've heard the fumes from Fairy Liquid are not good for you. Bathing in it would expose you to a lot of fumes. Lots of strange chemicals, sand etc in it. Not recommended for cleaning cars either!
    Nice to save.

Sell him and buy a pig - he'll realise then that he should have listened to you all along.

You could try diluting the Radox with water so it lasts twice as long, then he wouldn't need to use FL. Decant some of the Original Source stuff into the Radox bottle?

Thinking about the ratio of Fairy Liquid to water in the bath, I doubt it's doing him too much damage for the occasional times he's using it.

You could try suggesting that he uses a squirt of shampoo instead of FL because when you snuggle up you don't really want to be reminded of your dirty dishes by sniffing FL on his skin and it's killing the *romance* ;):D
