Prior to the update, if I wanted to update an app I had to sign in with my apple id. Now I have updated a few apps this evening and at no time have I had to sign in. Am I missing something? I liked the security of having to sign in to buy or download apps. Can anyone offer advice
Thanks0 -
Yes, Apple have removed the requirement to enter your iTunes password when updating apps or buying new free apps. They finally concluded that this was an unnecessary requirement that did not enhance security. You will of course still require your iTunes password to buy chargeable apps.Prior to the update, if I wanted to update an app I had to sign in with my apple id. Whenever I press one of the Facebook links in my contacts it opens my Lloyds Mobile Banking app instead of Facebook
Randomly fixed itself after a Facebook & Lloyds app update. Don't know which fixed it as they updated at the same time.
Odd.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0 -

You can't use this fix unless you jailbreak the phone which I doubt you want to do.0 -
Don't update. iOS 6 is slow, buggy and replaces vital parts like the Google Maps app and podcasts features with far inferior ones.
