I doubt they'll refund frozens as they can't guarantee they've been stored at the correct temperature and tbh I wouldn't want to buy a frozen item knowing that it had been out to someone else's house and back again.

Hadn't thought of that. Well, I've just been through the recycling I haven't put out yet and found the terms and conditions bit of the chicken TMF pack, that I had kept until I received the refund. So, I could chance it sending that, but it does say 'Cut out the TRY ME FREE front of pack flash.'

I would have sent the flash with the applications I've done before so I know I won't have them, and then the one I bought for the Checkoutsmart cashback I think I put in the bin as it had had food products on it and you're not supposed to put that in the recycling. Argh!

Well that's very kind but it's probably not worth putting you to the trouble. I've tweeted Tesco asking about returning frozen items just to make sure, but I'm sure you're right.:(

No, I've not had mine back yet either. I sent it off over a month ago and it's my oldest outstanding application.

Tesco on Twitter say I can return frozen items as long as it's within 28 days and I have the receipt. I'm sure my store might say different but I'll give it a go.

I promise I'll keep it frozen until I go down the road with it :)

I'll be surprised if the dragons at customer service will willingly let you do that but at least now you're ready for them if they give you hassle.

If this is correct I'm horrified!!
How can I, as a customer,be sure you've not left whatever frozen food in a hot car, re frozen it and then returned it???!!!!!!!!!!
I think we need to contact supermarkets and INSIST that this is a NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't get angry easily BUT that's appalling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know. I don't think it would go back on sale, it would have to be disposed of for that reason, which is a waste.

Calm down it is called customer service. When it has been behind the CS desk for a couple of hours it will be taken and dumped in a bin in the back. It should not be returned to the freezers or fridges. All the supermarkets are fighting for custom and by taking back a item it shows good customer service and may win thats customers shopping that week.
