And just to confirm the Venus Sugarberry razor compared as planned on the Tesco PP - £5 at Asda vs £11 T. Nice profit on that one then
I am thinking of giving it a go, as anyone got any tips or advice please?:o. I have never tried to do this before, and Im not really sure where to begin:o
TIA0 -
I always get it wrong when deliberately trying to get a Price Promise voucher! If I get 10 different items, can the Venus razor count as the 1 comparable item?
It's hard to know what's comparable!
Can the 10 different items be really cheap things, like 10p sweets (don't even know if they have any)?
Also, there's no need for a promo pack for Venus is there?0 -

When I got mine the Venus wasn't a promo pack and I bought 10 of the cheapest every day value grocery items I could find from memory it was 3 different flavour of stockcubes 2 different flavours of instant noodles 3 different biscuits stuffing mix instant custard mix and I got the PPs ticket0 -
PP advice - Value items are usually a good filler, also loose fruit/veg (a banana, a couple of onions, a couple of carrots etc - people on other threads buy a grape :rotfl:etc but I wouldn't personally go that far!). 10p bags of sweets are great (there's Maoams, Haribo little bags, Flumps etc).
Oh and newspapers count too, I think.
And yes, the razor will be one of your 10 items.0 -

Using a self-scan helps in these cases, and also saves the amazed comments from the cashier when they see your high PP voucher0 -
Venus razor blade
i have never used the price rromise and do not really know how this works. If i buy the razor at asda for £10 and claim the mbg with this reciept do i get a voucher for £5 difference with tesco price and if so, can i use this against another venus razor or can it be used against anything else. Sorry for being so naive0 -

When you buy things from Tesco that cost less at another big supermarket, a voucher for the difference (the amount you've spent above what you would have done in another supermarket) comes out automatically with your receipt. This voucher can be used when you next shop in Tesco, on anything.
The razor is £11 at Tesco at the moment and on offer for £5 at Asda. So if you buy another 9 items at Tesco, and the razor, you'll be eligible for a Price Promise voucher.
Send your receipt off for the MBG in the normal way and the full amount will be refunded - £11 if you buy it in Tesco. The Price Promise voucher is just a little bonus for you to spend on your next shop and will leave you in profit.
Sorry if that's a bit pedantic! Just trying to be clear.0 -
Asked in Asda tonight for them to check in the back for a bigger bottle of Daz liquid but they didn't have any.
Instead I settled for a 30 pack of the liquitabs for £8, which I thought was quite big.
I also managed to get the Plenty Dura Cloth - expensive isn't it?! Separate receipts, of course.
No promo packs of the Liberte yoghurts.0 -
