as you suggested bought razor today in tesco for £11 then went to asda to check and theirs was definitely £5 but my price promise voucher from tesco was only £ 2.11 which i understand should have been £6 - so i think a trip back to tescos is imminent. Am i right?

That's because the other items you bought were more expensive at Asda, thereby reducing your PP. Ideally you should have checked beforehand on Mysupermarket that the other items you were buying were around the same price at Asda so as not to affect your PP. (Bear in mind it's capped at £10). If you'd stuck to 10p sweets, an onion, a banana, economy stuff etc you should have been ok. But if you picked up some things that were on special offer at Tesco as part of your ten items that would reduce your PP overall. I hope that makes sense! You can check your PP results on the Tesco website to check where you went wrong for next time if you want.

That's outrageous! I've only just sent mine off but I'll be challenging it if they do the same to me. I trust you're going to complain to them about it.

yes I rang them and they got back to me with a message left on the answer machine saying if I wasn't happy I could return the vouchers and get a refund via a cheque but I would have to wait for 28 days to receive this. guess what I will be doing. yes now have to pay to return the vouchers to get my reimbursement as advertised by them. not happy and will put a note in to see if they refund the 2nd postage costs too.
will keep you informed as not to confident over this one.
