Re Venus & Olay Razor and Tesco Price Promise

    Can anyone advise me please.

If I purchase the Venus Razor and make up the other 9 items with Value chocolate bars (say 5 milk chocolate and 4 plain chocolate - I use a lot of these making brownies for the grandchildren) would this work providing I make sure each item is put through the checkout separately or does each item have to have a different barcode?

As I understand it, all the items have to be different products. Can anyone confirm this?

More bad MSEing from me today - I blame stress :o

Grabbed another Birds Eye chicken from Tesco to claim for at my second address (only claimed for fish at that one so far). Got home, realised it wasn't a TMF pack. I've already done the Checkoutsmart cashback for it aswell. It wouldn't matter so much if they were cheaper, but I think they're quite expensive for what they are.

The only Venus and Olay razor I could see was in a yellow pack and was actually on offer for £5.49 (in Tesco). Is that a new offer, or is it the sugarberry pink one that I need to get for the PP voucher?

Yes, at least 10 different products, one of which has to compare.

How annoying. I've just checked in my freezer and the chicken box only has one TMF flash on it because I was going to suggest that you dig your previous chicken box out of your freezer or recycling bin and cut the second flash off that box. However, the fish box has two flashes on it so you could dig that box out of your freezer or recycling bin and cut the second flash off that and send it off. I doubt they'd notice.

Remember to use mysupermarket to check prices of products and you'll see that it is the pink one you need to buy for the PP.

    Tesco Price Promise

    How it works

When you shop at Tesco, we’ll check your basket against the prices at Asda, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. If your comparable grocery shopping would have been cheaper there, we’ll give you a voucher for the difference (up to £10).

If you shop in-store, we’ll give you the voucher at the checkout, or if you shop online, we’ll send you an e-mail after your delivery has arrived.

To qualify, you’ll need at least 10 different items, including one comparable grocery item (this is the razor) in your basket.

Items to get to the required numbers of items can include

    A single banana
    1 white Onion
    1 red onion
    1 carrot
    1 potato
    1 bit of ginger
plus lots of other smaller items you can find around the store like small packs of sweets.

It is always worth buying a couple of extra items on top of the 10 incase the PP does not see any items. Although, it should see them all.

Another angle to come at it is to buy items you were going to buy already. Although, do check they are not cheaper in T and they are cheaper or the same price in A. Don't forget the £10 cap.

I think the boxes for the previous ones I've bought are well gone. I think I'm going to take them back to the shop!

I doubt they'll refund frozens as they can't guarantee they've been stored at the correct temperature and tbh I wouldn't want to buy a frozen item knowing that it had been out to someone else's house and back again.

    Hi all
Just about to tell them it didn't work for me but can't see where it asks me to tell them - in fact, it simply says ' If you're not completely satisfied, send your proof of purchase to......'
If you have done this could you please let me know if it's that simple or not?
    Many thanks.

They're not asking for a minimum number of words but I did tell them that I didn't think it worked and why. I only sent mine off last Monday so I haven't had a reply yet.
