Natty's Kicking her Mortgage in the Pants Diary

Well today, I managed to get out of my bed for 7.15am however in comparison to tomorrow this will be a veritable lie-in:eek:
More stripping in store for me today:DFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

I think it's great that you have a grand plan and so much opportunity to improve. We have a house that was 6 years ago and no opportunity whatsoever to improve it really, apart from a LC.
There are some major things about this house (more the plot) that stop it from being my forever house.
But, I just think that the more I save/overpay then the more opportunity there will be down the line to perhaps move somewhere else without needing to have such a humungouse mortgage to go with it.0 -
My plan is to pick my house and garden up and reposition them so that the garden gets the sun in evening. That's all
.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Bathroom
Suite ripped out, and if possible (room wise), separate shower cubicle and floating toilet (a must!)
Your plans sound amazing Natty. And doable if this is your forever house
One question... what's a floating toilet? :rotfl:0 -
We are in our forever house, which has loads of potential for extending etc but I fear by the time we can afford for the work to be done, the kids will be long gone, and the extension pointless.Slow progress is better than no progress.

Good morning pix - I should have described it as a 'wall hung toilet' like this http://images.google.co.uk/search?num=10&hl=en&site=&tbm=isch&source=hp&q=juicer&oq=juice&gs_l=img.1.1.0l10.3008.4183.0.6621.5.5.0.0.0.0.147.527.3j2.5.0...0.0...1ac.1.cnkDkVONM0c&biw=1024&bih=672&sei=za3kUPaVEoyShgf20oCYBg#biv=i|2;d|ZwuSmo-kddwO6M:Mortgagefreeby50 wrote: »We are in our forever house, which has loads of potential for extending etc but I fear by the time we can afford for the work to be done, the kids will be long gone, and the extension pointless.
By the time I even finish stripping this blimin' door, my kids will have left home! (although the reason you stated is the same reason I would shelf plans to have the loft converted)
Check the use of multi-quotes:D Now, can anyone help me with how to do the cool linky thing please?February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

For the linky just highlight the word you want to link to and use the button with the globe and wee bubble thing then it lets you put the link in - just paste from browser window.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

How very bizarre, for some reason this is a link to juicers:o Now as much as I love juicing, I can assure you that my dream toilet would not resemble a juicer - although I suppose it would make the whole process 'leaner'. If still interested after my ramblings, please google 'wall hung toilets'February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

I thought the juicer link was a wee joke
! I do know what you mean by a floating loo, but I got a new bathroom last year and spent way too much time looking at such things...

I think I must be high from nitromors SS:D
Did you get a floating loo with your bathroom upgrade? It's not that I'm a clean freak, but I always find it difficult to clean behind my current toilet (it's also badly positioned, which doesn't help). Funnily enough though, the bathroom would be the last thing I would upgrade I'd far rather have a lovely ensuite first:DFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
