    And so the abundance continues.....this morning I have linked my current account to a Vantage account - with thanks to ATT on Tilly's thread:T better interest rates all round thank you very much:)

    Today's tasks are;
    To get up:D
    Further removal of paint from a door (when I moved into the house all doors had been lovingly stripped and waxed with the exception of one - on one side), so I will put the music on and spend the day stripping:D

    I'm still not sure on the diary front. I have such a long way to go that I will probably be here for 20 years - long after everyone else has gone (and assuming the forum is still here!). As it would be very slow progress - I think I would feel a bit of a fraud. :o Does that sound silly?
    Also, didn't want to start at new year and fade away - if I did start one I would prob do so at another point in the year.
    I do find it inspiring to be around here though - and I know that I'm learning so much from you all. ;)
    Hope you don't mind me semi-lurking ...

    I absolutely promise you that I will be here for the long haul BW (and from reading other's diaries - there's quite a few of us;) as you know, my diary is 99% drivel, with the odd 1% having :money: inserts). Everyone is so nice though that they don't seem to mind (and I think that anyone who would rather not read my drivel, would just quickly - and quite rightly - move on). Please, please don't lurk as your contributions are very valuable:)

    Hi BookWorm, I just wanted to add that I lurked for over a year and so wish I had the courage to start a diary sooner. I was worried that our mortgage was so high, we have relatively high salaries and thus would not fit in, or not receive support. That's not the case at all, people are amazingly supportive and we are all on different journeys. Whether it is mortgage debt or unsecured debt, it's still a pile of cash to pay back. The discipline in posting regularly really does help.

    Sorry if I have come across overly passionate but I feel strongly about the power of a diary :p

    Best wishes Tilly x

    NP - Aww thanks hun - I will have another think about it .. promise :) I don't think your diary is drivel - I love all the light heartedness that goes on round here - think it def helps!

    Tilly - thank you also for your comments. You don't come across as 'overly passionate' - just knowledgable and enthusiastic :).
