  • Yes.

But only marginally more than I despise Labour.

Vile self centered cowards all of them.

    Which is more cowardly?;

    1) Showering the over entitled voters with money (when they have a £1 trillion black hole already)?

    2) Taking tough unpopular decisions that don't please the children with instant gratifying wonga?

Where did you get this notion that we are entitled to vastly more than we can pay for?
  • It's a fair point. When it comes to cowardice and lies, I think Labour wins hands down. The Tories have the edge on self-serving greed though.

  • No.

How can I despise a party under whom I'm actually better off as a married, child-free, working homeowner?

Out of interest, how are you better off?

  • I'm sure that Labour will get in again at the next election. All I can say is "Hooray". I am sure that more gold reserves will be auctioned off at the lowest price so that I can get free swimming and perhaps a free laptop or two? So that would be great.

I don't have children and am getting fairly old, so the consequences of any irresponsible spending, deliberate policy of unskilled immigration, and other typical Labour policies, don't really matter to me.

Many trends signs point to a healthy recovery now under way.

1 million net new private sector jobs created in 2 years,
against the backdrop of Euorpean contraction is in fact quite a staggering achivement.

I thought you were into in independant thinking, and not following the flock?

Most of those new jobs are part time, public sector job purge and still govt debt grows rapidly icon9.gif

If I didn't know better your post sounds like a typical political (Tory) soundbite.

The truth is most of the jobs that have been created are minimum wage Asda,Tesco etc jobs. They don't create wealth as the employees are on minimum wage, page little or no tax and still qualify for benefits (WTC,CTC, housing benefit etc). The likes of Asda and Tescos don't create real wealth they just pay low wages knowing the UK taxpaying public will continue to stump up the shortfall in income.

Small to medium sized businesses that do create wealth still can't access the finance to grow thats a clear fact that you can't deny and until the Tories stop licking the boots of the bankers nothing will change.

You won't find anyone more critical of New Labour than me , the Condems are doing some things right but a lot wrong.

They are pretty much your average British Government.
