Maybe its just a way for Quidco to make some more money. After all, they say they only take £5 of your earnings per year.

That won't go far will it!!!!

    1. Please stop shouting

    2. £5 x how many members ??? even if it only has 10,000 members, thats £50,000 minimum a year for what???.
It is very easy to cut & paste the referral links that are provided by the affiliate companies into a website.
I am not complaining about Quidco, on the contrary, but it isn't a full time job to maintain an affiliate site, the hardest part is getting the initial site program, a similar site is currently for sale at £3,000.

If quidco is run/scripted by an enthusiast, then they probably get more from the satisfaction than they do from the money - nothing makes me smile more than making someone else smile :D

I bought my Skype credit through Quidco. All completed on-line. Mine was tracked. I supposed to get £2.50 cashback. But then saw it was rejected. Did ask for the enquiry. No result back yet.

On the skype page on quidco it tells you about this in the warning box below the link.

Please read the following before proceeding:

Due to a tracking anomaly, this will track in as immediately declined, but will change to pending when Skype approves the transaction.

It took about 2 weeks until mine changed from declined to tracked, but the payment was very speedy!

Im sorry but your completley misguided with another bash the bank comment! We all need these organisations to do well to benefit us all

Course you can buy and sell without having to tell anyone other than DVLA. However the insurer can also ask any questions it sees fit.

The point i am making is that the policy has been bought and payment arranged online therefore i would be confident just because someone has called that this is not the reason for Quidco not tracking.

I don't believe I am misguided, of course we need banks to keep our money safe but OFT has said the charges are illegal, as they are not transparent about the true costs, oh and by the way two members of my family work for leading banks so have a true indication of how long it actually takes and what gets done. How can they be that safe when they are taking our money, technically, stealing, because if someone walked in and 'took' your tv that would be stealing but it is okay for banks to remove it from your account.

However this is about Quidco and not bank charges so it's annoying some transactions are not tracking.

Good luck to all in getting your queries resolved.

I think e-bay are the worst - they never ever ever track and have the policy that your not allowed to query - quidco won't answer queries into e-bay payouts.

they don't even have the 'completing online' excuse they just don't pay out without reason
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

I'm awaiting £120 from LloydsTSB for car insurance which didn't track at the end of January. I logged a query but have heard nothing since. Also waiting for CoolNewMobile query which was declined in October (queried immediately but not sent to merchant for several months).

I had a query with TalkTalk which was resolved within 10 days, maybe only a week!

Never had a problem with Ebay tracking.
  • I have had an outstanding tracking problem with Boots since September last year, still shows "sent to merchant."
Also have an outstanding amount with Budget commercial vechicle insurance taken out in Jan. That again shows sent to merchant.
The insurance quote would not be so compatative if it was not for the offer of cashback.
    Still we live and learn.

lovefilm declined mine - I complained and sent details got £6.50 cashback, better than nothing :)
On the plus side just got paid my direct line insurance cashback today :)
  • I took out Barclays home ins in Dec which took a while to pay because nothing paid out until I had paid Jan and Febs DD
I also did Pruhealth for the gym membership - the original quote and DD was done on-line in Jan but I still had to speak to them on the phone about several things, despite this it still paid out, after the first dd came out on March 1st they paid Quidco on 30th.
