  • A few weeks ago 'Sort out winter coats' appeared on a list one day, and as OH said he'd do it months ago I reminded him he'd offered and left it at that. He got round to it eventually, and to my absolute shock I found out this morning I'd got a Jaegar coat I thought I'd sent to the CS years ago. I've just had a gander on Eb*y and it seems they go for enough to make listing it worthwhile, so I'm rather chuffed about that. Unfortunately it's missing the maker's label though as I used to hang it up by it and it ripped off eventually so I don't quite know how to deal with that.

I did the shower curtains yesterday, and they still have some signs of mildew around the bottom hem. They're 100% polyester and they're 2m long rather than the more easy to get hold of 6'. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on bleaching polyester? (I've done the bicarb and vinegar thing twice, but it's not going to help doing it again.)
    Better is good enough.

Been out visiting, DS playing, DD asleep in buggy. Had a quick whizz round upstairs and all bedrooms tidy and hoovered. Haven't changed their beds as they are in mine more than their own... DS said he won't come in my bed anymore, just only when it's dark :rotfl:

Leftover casserole for dinner later, spot of ironing, and we might play in garage this aft so I can have a clear. Had a charity bag through door this morning so will root through my "out" pile and see if there is anything worth selling. If not, I'll fill their bag.

Honey bear I use this a lot - never on shower curtains ( I have a screen) but it could be worth a go - cheaper other places than Lakeland I expect (homebase sell it).

Bathroom all done except the floor which I'll do next

    Just having a cuppa

  • Not much flying done but have decluttered an emergency visit to the orthodontist with DD1... and have rescheduled her next appt so she has plenty of chance to recover from her surgery.

Have then been to work and into town - opicians have checked over my glasses - prescription is the correct one but they have put more tilt on them - hopefully this will reduce the headaches...

    Hi Ladies

Been flying under the radar for the last couple of weeks just doing enough to keep my wings but not posting while sorting DS back to uni. He's away now so need to get back on track so will spend this evening seeing what youve all been up to and will fly long haul over the weekend :D

Evening all! Very quiet today. I had got the kiddies off to bed, but DD has just come in saying "had a poo, mummy" :rotfl:

So I'm saying what a good girl she is, coming to tell me, get her fleecy onsie off, and she hasn't at all. So I said "you haven't" and she laughed and said "oh no where's it gone?". I told her its bedtime, and she says "want a mummy bed" and bingo! I realise I've been had, lol

Anyway, I did my ironing this aft whilst they were in the garden, and then they helped me tidy the garage and fill a bag for charity.

So that's me done today! Cup of tea and telly...
    Night all.
