Hi, can't sleep. Today got a bit done, not much really. Did 4 loads of washing, but was 1 throw, 2 light/darks which were not even half loads and sheets, plus did the kitchen, but did not do the floor. My parents are coming for dinner 2moz as ds is going to uni Friday, so a bit of a sendoff with family and her friends, i like the place to appear(!!!) spick and span, im out all day from early morn, so kids & lodger, as in my ds homeless friend (!!!), assigned to hall & bathroom and i will have caught up, apart from whatever today is - prob bedrooms - errrrrr, quick exit needed. Night, morning all.

EDIT - whoops forgot about the lounge, will fit it in 2moz zzzz

DS has got the heater on out in the conservatory  it was cold out there and he's set his trains up rather than in the living room. He's got a fleece dressing gown on with the hood up too :rotfl: I think our ch has kicked in this morning too, although its only on for 20 min...

Layers is the way to go, I think (and dig out my bootee slippers :D)

    Morning all!

I spent yesterday travelling 3 hours each way by train to play with DGDs. DGD2 is now 5 weeks old, getting quite chubby and very smiley :) I hadn't seen her since the day after she was born. Her parents took her to the registrar's yesterday afternoon so I got to look after DGD1 on my own for a while in the library - great fun :)

It's DGD1's 2nd birthday next week so I let her unwrap her present, which was these threading beads
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Branching-Out-Nature-Lacing-Beads/dp/B001C0EK9E
They are even more beautiful than they look in the picture, and the lace now has a piece of dowling at one end to make threading much easier for little ones: DGD1 got the hang of it in about 5 minutes and then ended up taking all the creatures for a walk, pulling the lace behind her and saying "Heel! Heel!" :rotfl: She already knows all the creatures' names and it will be good for her learning colours.

So, no flying was achieved yesterday! Today I must do some catch-up:

Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level Two

    Clean microwave
    Level Three
    mop the floor
    Extras
    Clean TD/ DW filters
    Wipe cupboard fronts

    Tuesday - Living Room
    Level Three
    Wipe skirting boards

    Wednesday - Bathrooms & Study
    Level One

    Clean toilets
    Level Two
    Clean baths/sinks/showers
    Clear and mop floor
    Level Three
    Wipe computer screens and keyboards
    Extras
    Catch up on phone calls
Wash bath mats & shower curtains

Thursday - Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level Two

    Hoover floors
    Level Three
    Sort a drawer
    Dust any dusty bits
    Extras
    HHI

Have decluttered DH to work, so will now go and have a quick shower and just carry on from there with bathroom and bedroom for my first HHC. Anyone care to join me at 8.30?

Pigpen, I hope Squeak's eczema gets better soon. My DS1 had eczema as a small child and it began to clear up after a couple of weeks on (mainly but not exclusively) goat's milk. After that we just bought a carton of the milk every now and then when the eczema threatened to return. Perhaps soft goat's cheese would do a similar job - Aldi do a nice one which you can spread on bread (and it's even better with a bit of apricot jam!)

    Best wishes for tomorrow, macpep1.

(((Hugs))) for all who need them.

Morning all. The weather is awful here this morning so I haven't been able to walk the doggies, but it means I've spent over 2 hours catching up on the flying lists. Have also cleaned all the windows inside (except DDs room as she's still in bed).

This is what is still outstanding for me to do after the paid stuff or when I can be bothered:

    Dust LR
    Dust Hall/Stairs/Landing
    Dust master bedroom
    Change bedding
    Sort a drawer
    Clear chairdrobe

    Have a good day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.
