Good afternoon girls and boys, hope you are all good.

I have no advice to offer re the eczema, but hugs for the little one. Hope she isnt too sore or uncomfortable.

Re Xmas pressies for 10 yr olds, my DS is 10 and is really into his sports gear at the minute and has expressed his dissatisfaction at being dressed in Pr!mark clothes... he would like @didas, n!ke etc etc. HE wasnt bratty about it, just that he didnt want to be the odd one out at school and if he could choose, thats what he would really like. He was bullied for months at his old school, so I can understand why he doesnt want to be the odd one out and wants to be accepted!! So i think i will pick up some clothes that he would like, and hed like a TV for his bedroom, so depending on how much I can save between now and then, and how much I can get one for (even second hand), hopefully that will be what santa brings this year, but I guess Ill just have to wait and see! ;)

Hurrah! I don't actually have shower curtains, but the screens, so have given them a bit of a shine. I've also generated a very small ironing pile that will wait until tomorrow, as I'm going to get changed, and won't have chance when the kiddies are home...

Long day of baking today with niece! Babysitting is exhausting!!

Level 1 and level 2 completed!! Bath mat out on line.

Don't have study but after a house full of children today the living room and kitchen need another clean.

Have just decided to do an hour ironing tonight. Try to stay ahead. Only problem is nothing good on tv tonight! Should I treat myself to box office?

Only read as page 4, but thanks for the suggestions, DD already has a phone and an IPOD............both were second hand for last years Christmas and Birthday..............she can't find the charger for her ds lite and I was going to get one now, but think I'll wait for Christmas....and get a new game for it........as well as clothes (she is going to Brussels in March with the school so will need new)........I was thinking of getting her her own straighteners..............she has asked(for 2 tears) for an electric scooter!!!! Her Birthday is a week after Christmas, so may get one cheap for that.......... Thanks again xx

  • Just had to pop back on. An hour and a half of ironing! I will see the bottom of that ironing pile!! Found clothes that will never fit and even if they did they are well out of style!!!

Used very nice ironing water so house smells great. Wondered though if anyone had ever made their own ironing water? I am in A hard water area so if I use tap water the iron gets covered in black deposits!
