Jo How are you going to mamange without an income next month?

I have no idea, spend as little as possible between now and then and save every penny I have to see through the bills. Hopefully my tax credits will stretch far enough as long as we dont eat or use any electric/gas :rotfl:. I have my overdraft so it wont be dire, Ill manage and just have to pay the overdraft back again over time... Not ideal, but then its better than using CCs.

Hope you guys are all feeling better soon and hugs for all the poorlies xx

    Best go organise a list....

First of all, thanks for the nice messages about my hearing aid. I went to a friends party last night and managed to hear what everyone was saying really easily. Result!

Pigpen - i'd resorted to subtitles on tv which annoyed my family greatly :D

Mumto5 - they won't know until they 'go in' if mine is the simple of but they think it could be. If it's the more difficult one they'll just leave well alone for now so i don't lose anything.

Lav1979 Yes, it's digital and I can't believe how easy the telephone is now! It's brilliant. My only worry is that I have a permanent fullness in my ears but i'm hoping it's just because i have a cold as it's in both ears not just the hearing aid one. Fingers crossed. Mind you, I was walking to a friends house last night and asked my husband what the noise i could hear was....it's was an aeroplane as we live quite near an airport - i'd never heard them before!:rotfl:

Right, now for flying. I seem to have being doing 'bits' all week but haven't worked off a list and because i've been busy the house is looking a bit messy so.....

    MY LIST
    Kitchen and Dining Room

    Hoover floor
    Clear and wipe table
    Clean TD/ DW filters
    Wipe cupboard fronts

    Living Room, Hall & Stairs
    Clear and hoover floor
    Dust any dusty bits
    Clear and wipe windowsill
    Empty all bins
Wipe bannister rail and any other wood bits on stairs
    Wipe skirting boards
    Clear a hotspot

    Bathrooms & Study
    Clean toilets
    Clean baths/sinks/showers
    Clear and mop floor
    Wipe computer screens and keyboards

    Master Bedroom & Landing
    Clear floordrobe
    Hoover floors
    Clear landing
    Sort a drawer
    Dust any dusty bits

    Children's Bedrooms
Pile stuff in middle of rooms for them to put away

Not a lot to do then! I'll delete as it's done ...

:D at not eating, I say that too haha. You do what you gotta do, hope you get through ok , and thanks x

Mudders Had no idea you got a hearing aid doh! I knew someone that used to switch hers off when everyone got on her wick hahahaha

Today's customers phoned and cancelled boo hiss! Had to go upstairs to get the laptop charger so brought some washing down with me but I've not switched the machine on, not in the mood to be dealing with wet washing and as for the dishes/kitchen, they were looked at and that was all. I'm off back to bed.

Ah, result!!!!!!!!!!!! My castle, specially for Honey Bear. The "keep" is a silver cardboard box, the curtain walls are made of thick card, and the towers are lengths of pipe insulation. I used it at the discussion group I ran on Monday and it sparked off the conversation just as I had hoped.

Not much flying to do today but I need to get on with more paperwork this morning. Have just ordered 25 cardboard boxes for storing course materials. Must find space to store them by Wednesday, when delivery is due.

I have a watcher on my lone eB@y item :) and have just seen that it's a free listing weekend :T so must make time to add some more things. It's hard to know where to start, I seem to be finding more and more "stuff" that can go. DH and I combined our 2 households 3 years ago and it's time to get rid of the unused gibble. I keep piling it all up in the study, hoping it will spur me on to get rid of it! Maybe I shall have enough for a car boot sale soon...

Hope everyone has a good or at least better day today. (((Hugs))) to all who need them x

Embb - it's so easy to miss stuff as you're trying to read through the thread isn't it! I'm always thinking 'ooops' should have noticed that!

Jo - hope you get things sorted quickly! I believe eating, gas, electric etc is vastly over-rated anyway!

Hugs to all that need them.

    In my HHC I...

    Clear worksurfaces
Wipe worksurfaces right into the corners
    Clean microwave
    Wipe hob
    Empty dishwasher
    Strip, wash and replace bedding

Crikey, it felt like i'd done a whole lot more off my list. Oh well!

Need to pop out and get dog food, groceries etc but will do more when I get in.

Two days into one today - working till nine last night so got nothing done!!

One bed stripped and in the washing machine. Coloured bedding next. Hopefully it will stay dry so no need for tumble drier.

First slow cooker meal of the autumn on - beef and red wine casserole - yummy!!!

Update - White bedding out on line and coloured bedding from guest room in machine. Just noticed machine is getting a bit musty so will have to put in on a hot cycle with some bleach later
