Getting very disheartened

Hello all. I have been comping full time for three solid months now and have yet to win anything at all even a bar of chocolate. I am getting very disheartened and trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong:( What does everyone do when they have dry spells and what am I doing wrong. It's hard not to give up. All the best of luck to everyone
Hi,
I've had the same problem and then suddenly you get a massive run of good luck! Just keep at it and you'll be fine. Good Luck

I have been comping for three years and only ever won one "big" prize (an ipod) but I only competitions I would want to win or someone in my family want. I think the only thing more dissapointing than not winning anything is to win something and then finding out it is something you have absolutely no use for. Keep chipping away!Prizes:
2013 - £3,500; 2014 - £8,200; 2015 - £9,300; 2016 - £6,500; 2017 - £9,500; 2018 - £1,600; 2019 - £2,100; 2020 - £2360!
Thanks for everyone's help getting these xx0 -
keep going its not impossible ive just had my first 2 wins in one day! What goes around-comes around0

I started comping a good few years ago and had nothing for 6 months then they came fast and furious one after another, a holiday to Pontins, £100 Tesco Giftcard, Xfactor tickets with backstage passes, Jean Paul Gaultier Goody Bag and a good few more.
But then I fell pregnant and was really ill so stopped it, but Im now back at work and have started comping on my lunch break - I started again around 6 months ago and to date have won - a WWE goody bag which contained a bag of popcorn and some kitchen utensils. But I love the excitement of it and everytime I enter something I always think "what if"
Hoping I get more luck soon but if not I will carry on regardless xx0 -
you just have to carry on if you want to win
you wont win anything if your name is not in the draw.
in2010 I won from memory a t shirt and something from rizzla advent.
rizzla took six months to send out the prize, and that was all I won all year.
last year although I complain a bit I did really well but it was nothing for months then a biggie, So I won 3 or 4 big prizes and 2 small prizes all year
this year is a mix of big and small prizes, and I am happy for each of them.
I don't enter thousands a day maybe 50 so my chances are smaller anyway, however when I enter I have a person in mind if I did win.
I don't comp for cash, unless I won the runner up or the biggie when I wanted the runner up
just plod on unless you cant stand not winning
and please remember that closing dates mean nothing.
I just today had a WTC from a comp that closed 31/7.
promoters can take their time letting you know, not forgetting you can be told you won and they take 3 months to get your prize to you:rotfl:63 mortgage payments to go.
Zero wins 2016 😥0 -
If comping is fun and you enjoy it then keep going. Any win is then a bonus but not the be all and end all. They will come in the end.
I know its pure chance but I do sometimes think you either have a lucky name or you dont. Is there a partner who's different name you could try for a few months? If wins come through for them stick with that.
I started last August and have been extremely lucky. I'm currently building up a nice stack and variety of Christmas presents for my kids so this is going to help me out financially this year.
I'm now totally addicted and love entering and doing my comps every day. I get withdrawal if I cant.
PS/ My friend who go me into comping says his wife gave him a time limit of 12 months and if it didnt work he would give up. His win started coming in on month 11 and he's won all sorts and been all over the world on comp wins. Im not up to his standard yet but hope to catch up eventually.0
