Well if the MS company are really that bothered, they need to contact the shop directly and they will get a copy as it will be easy to find based on transaction costs and a 5-10 min time frame.

They have a system of transactions carried out for both for customers if they had two transactions on their card or for fraud on staff.

We do get customers asking for duplicate receipts all the time. Next time, you could say you have two filing systems going on at home ;)

Haha, I've gone back for receipts/reprints before, but it was the teeniest little bit missing, and I can't imagine anyone other than staff or MSers know or care what those numbers mean. The transaction date and time is there, and it sounds like TNS have a system in place for cases like mine, so hopefully all should be fine :)

I've generally waited around a fortnight, sometimes a little less, for QDOS payments.

A quick shout out to say THANK YOU to all of you who post useful information. I've been a lurker and appreciate all who participate. I've been mystery shopping for several years and you guys are the best!

Got a bit irritated with the proofreaders at MF this morning. I did a restaurant the other day and left a box unticked on the report {sauces were offered} because....drum roll......no sauces were offered. I've gotten 3 queries this morning...the first - "please explain why you didn't tick the box" I was not offered any sauces. The second: "could you please clarify in detail why you didn't tick the box" I was not offered any type of sauce and I'm sure it was because I ordered lasagna; therefore no sauces were necessary. And the third and final (so far): "Are you sure you were not offered mayonnaise or any other sauce or cream?" Which part of "I was not offered any sauces" don't you understand? I am positive I was not offered any type of sauce or mayonnaise or mustard or vinegar OR ANY OTHER SAUCE.

    I hope I wasn't being too harsh...

I had something similar happen to me a few months ago and I received 3 or 4 queries so I called them and asked what the problem seemed to be and they said the staff member was saying they thought they had offered it but realised later they didn't offer it because something happened in the kitchen they had to attend to. MF were fine.
  • is it usual for companies to phone you? I have just received a call asking me to do a mystery shop. I registered on several sites but haven't as yet done one. I thought you put in for the jobs rather than being offered them

Yes. Check they are ones you've applied to though.

I think I'd have responded very much the same (perhaps worse if I was already in a bad mood!) Even the first query was unnecessary, never mind the second and third! Reminds me why I don't bother much with them nowadays, aside from the poor fees.

Helloooo I have managed to enter my GAP reports without issue this evening. I have one for MF that I picked up at the airport sadly I can't sign into the website to complete the assignment. Everytime I click on the username box, the whole page refreshes.... Can anyone else sign in?
