Great advice, thanks. Glad I came here for it.

    youre welcome
What did you want to be told then ?
as clearly it wasnt someone opinion, you wanted to be told what you want to hear ?
Youve already responded to their questions with what I would have advised you do, so not sure what else there is to offer advice on, other than what I have already!

i think there should be an annual acting awards ceremony for mystery shoppers (although we would have to attend wearing masks)

the buy back i have had to do today, I would have won an oscar I think ;)

Can I nominate me in a chemist. My fictitious bad back pain was so realistic, the lady offered me a glass of water so I could take a tablet right away :rotfl: Luckily it was lunchtime so I said I on my way home and I would take one with my dinner in case it upset my tummy :D
Here I go again on my own....

I always feel really bad about lying in these ones when they are so sympathetic, especially if they say that suffer with the same type of pain/affliction and know just what you're going through.

Just a warning for any Scottish shoppers doing the cashmere jobs. It's a nightmare. I took two in the same store, misreading that there was a men's purchase for both, so a reasonable reimbursement, though with sweaters at £300, a pair of socks was all it would have bought. Having spent about 2 hours on the worst designed report ever, which asked the same question 5 different ways, and about 30 minutes in the shop trying to convince them I could afford at £800 dressing gown, I think I'm just getting the fee, which makes the job work out at 1/6th of the minimum wage per hour. I still have the other report to write- but think Im hot footing back for a refund of the items bought. So, if anyone is thinking of doing the one with the tea shop and the mill visit- don't!!

Forgot to mention it was for AA

    You didn't have to :p

I got asked to go to Elgin, they offered me a whole £20 for petrol, from Glasgow...

I expect they'll offer it to me next as I was stupid enough to take one of them.
The place was full of tourists too spending massive amounts of money.

(Not even sure where Elgin is-but obviously nowhere near Dundee)- there's one on the Borders too

Has anyone done an open audit for [FONT=&quot]A company which doesnt like to be discussed? The e-mail says I need to check the position of a certain sku (product) on the shelf, moving it (if appropriate), place wobblers, barkers and strips on shelf (these will be posted to me). Then taking a photo of before and after.

Do the staff at the store know about this?

they also say you should never discuss what any of their jobs are.... or mention them on here...

the clue is in the word open eg OVERT vs COVERT which means hidden.

you introduce yourself to staff usually with a cover letter of authorisation on overt audits

Haha, my headache was so realistic yesterday the pharmacist offered me a glass of water too so I could take my medicine, of course I declined :D

When I done the reveal part of the job they commented that my headache was convincing. Though I concede that back pain is more difficult to pull off convincingly.:rotfl:
