Never say anything bad about the toilets even if they are filthy with unmentionables up the wall and on the floor. You are likely to get the sack if you do. It goes against the grain but you have to ignore quite a lot with certain companies Just keep quiet and take the money - they are not worth worrying about.

I understand where Chris comes from, but he is Wrong! Better to get the sack than invalidate all your reports. Cleanliness is part of health and safety and if you fail to report something and someone gets ill, it may be partly your fault.

In the past I may have skipped over a really minor thing, like a bit of water splashing when the water pressure is to high (especially if I did the splashing!) but anything which could be a problem you have to report. If your not reporting them it sounds like you do not have confidence in your timings, as if everything else is OK why not challenge them. Burger managers get penalised if they challenge every report so its not everyone against you. If your confidant in your work, be honest. However, maybe make copious notes!!!

I have been challenged for a small amount of liquid under urinals so they do over react. Although, in a chicken place I actually took a photo as it was so gross! I hardly believed it myself!

However, your damaging the client, your reputation and the validity of MSing if you do not report bad cases of cleanliness and hygiene. at best unprofessional, at worst, fatal!

On the subject of Gyp, I waited 30 min at a drive thru for chicken. I was able to complete some of my other reports from that day while I waited so not completly wasted. Still anticipating some kind of query.

LOL I love it when its like that. you start worrying what will happen if you actually spend 3 hours in the queue and go over the time slot!

Personally, if I am in the mood I enjoy really bad service, plenty of right about. sadly, chicken places tend to be my number 1 target

Bit of info with possible future problems.
I did the ESA chemists yesterday and in one store, after I had been lurking outside waiting for unsuspecting customers, I went back to do the audit bit and initially was refused a refund on the product!!
Seems there's a policy if the item has left the store- doesn't matter why, they aren't supposed to refund.
I managed to persuade him as I was obviously not tampering with it, but it was very embarrassing...

I've informed ESA as they might want to change round the order that things get done.
  • Anyone been doing the React clothes shops with the small purchase where you enter the results on a different site.
Having carefully logged on etc, my two stores aren't there!! Any ideas?
Also, in case anyone has done some, a few shops are completed but have not been submitted.

In all honesty the staff was really apologetic and the rest of the shop was good. He gave me a free drink while I was waiting. I put that in the report as I saw that as good customer service. Bless him I nearly asked if they had to go and catch the chicken first...
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

Omg I am so annoyed and need to take my anger out somewhere so please allow me to do so here.
I am NEVER EVER going to take up another RA visit. They pay you SO LITTLE and expect you to write such long answers for each question. 1000 characters for one question? I don;t know what details to give.
I recently did their railway visit and there is not much I can say as the stores were so small and not much could be analysed and talked about .

I am fed up. Still got one more report to send

Could you contact RA and explain that 1000 characters rule is a bit much? Maybe 100 characters minimum. That will give 2 lines of response.

(The above 2 lines contain c135 characters including spaces)
  • Seriously feels forever since I've done a petrol assignment where I am purchasing petrol, :-( one client you purchase food, one GAP client is audits only, and one client is also auditing but not sure if they are still doing mystery shops, and the other client from RA the assignments get snapped up very quickly. Please say I'm not the only one experiencing this.

Ive covered just under 300 miles in past 2 days
have to say those of you who live up east yorkshire way there are some lovely views to be had if not a little isolated in places, however being stuck for 5 hours to do a journey that should have taken 2.5 due to motorway accidents and roadworks wasnt fun
