Never say anything bad about the toilets even if they are filthy with unmentionables up the wall and on the floor. You are likely to get the sack if you do. It goes against the grain but you have to ignore quite a lot with certain companies Just keep quiet and take the money - they are not worth worrying about. This is a deplorable attitude to this work !
If you complete the job correctly, put truthful, accurate and well structured comments you will not be sacked, but appreciated, even by Gap.
Yes they do rotate their assessors occasionally, but they are generally a reasonable company if you work well for them.whitelabel wrote: »Please just stop doing jobs now.
You undermine the whole process for Everyone else if this is your attitude to reports.
Unless they stated that was the exact reason they sacked you, your wrong to suggest it was.
I am unable to do that client, except special purchases, and it wasnt for giving bad reports. I gave many a good and many a bad over the many many that i did.
regardless that approach to dealing with mystery shopping will just encourage many companies to stop paying for visits at all if all they get is perfect results
Chris357 I can't believe you said that. SOME of us on here mystery shop for a living. It is our full time job and we actually take pride in doing the job properly, as per the brief, and give a full, factual report.
People like you who obviously go in just for a free meal with NO INTENTION of giving a correct report are what is driving the rate of pay down.
I hope GAP manage to track you down and sack you from the burger jobs ASAP!We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Had an email about it the other day, then just had another email telling me the job is now due. Logged on and it is basically a question asking me if I'm interested in a particular job, yes or no. Also need to input date and time of visit...
Just me they're annoying with this malarky? If I wanted the job, I'd have picked it up.Big_Graeme wrote: »Just narrowing down the possible list of candidates and then they'll allocate some rather than fastest finger first. I get the feeling ESA have been suffering with poor reports and lack of take up recently, a combination of lower fees and an insane amount of work needed on some jobs.
If you don't want to do any of the jobs just don't fill the form in.
Is this ESA and the fruity new phone jobs? I got that too and love these jobs, so quick and simple, and since I live near both Lakeside and Bluewater they are great for me if I can get all of them on one day!!
However there is one question that I really dont know the answer to - about a type of job and which staff member you should approach that isnt covered in the attached briefing notes - any ideas, anyone? We’ve had to remove your signature. It is but you have to read the damn thing three times before you can spot it...0 -

It seems they already did. having checked their past posts it seems they think they were sacked from burgers for giving a bad toilet report...0 -
Talking of them, I got a curiously worded email saying they are no longer doing the coffee shops - but it isn't clear if they've been dumped or it is just me! Anyone want some scales?0

Maybe they realised its the quality of coffee they sell, not their customer service that needs work. I turned Gyp down 3 times on these assignments. Wouldnt drink there for all the tea in chinaThis was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

That is a shame, I wonder if there is a greater plan? Back in August I'd heard they were ending a conflict of interest. I wonder what it can/could be?0

A couple of service firms I've been employed by have moved away from mystery shoppers in favour of prompting customers for feedback. There are pros and cons obviously but perhaps this coffee company have chosen to cut costs in this area?Sealed Pot Challenge #239

Public library, pubs, Costa and MaccyDs. Have you got a smart phone, tether it?serendipity2706 wrote: »When I was moving and didn't have internet I used the local library- it's free, local and quite quick too
Unfortunately I was babysitting on the Thursday so was unable to leave the house, I was told by my ISP that it would be sorted shortly so I put my trust in them then a few hours later after it was too late to go out with a 5 year old it was still not working! I did try to do it on my phone but certain bits of the survey just wouldn't work. ah well, I'll just need to work doubly hard this week to make up for it!0
