Well they replied to me saying I was accepted as they were looking for people in my area (Glasgow) and that I was to do the test! so I'll just wait a little more I guess!

Aye, don't take it as a slight on yourself, they do things the old fashioned way and you may have been one of many who they have on as a reserve when active shopper numbers drop, the wife is in the same boat.

It started mystery shopping in august.
I joined Market Force have been enjoying the assignments.

Recently there have been no new assignments in my area so I decided to join another company. I haven't been having any luck with this.

I joined GAPBuster. Their Clients are not places I'd choose to go. The phrase "you couldn't pay me to go there" springs to mind. I just joined Helion research but felt they were asking to much information from me and don't know what their assignments are like.

Can anyone else recommend a company i might like?

Abai and their department store sound perfect for you

They emailed me back today saying that I had completed the certification and that I was now able to go on and book visits!

I accepted some bus audits and really REALLY regret it now. Completed the visits with no issues but now have to file a seperate lengthy report for each journey. Would release them if I hadn't already spent all my money on stupid bus tickets. Nightmare!! I hate doing this job sometimes....

just wondering what kind of secret video device you guys use when MS. Just because I am considering investing in a device so I can do the video mystery shop but am not sure what type of device is best to buy for it.

google PV500, mind you it's being updated soon.

There is a debate about how expensive this equipment it but you need the high definition and the high-gain microphone to provide decent video. The companies all ask what equipment you intend using and ask for samples. There are some companies that lend equipment. Again, google and you'll find all the big players.

Thanks for that, I was going to get a small one but now you've shown me that as what they kind of expect i was just wondering how you manage to conceal it as it seems quite big.

Rule number 1 - Amber Arch are a really bad company to work for.
Rule number 2 - If you do find you take an Amber Arch job you'll soon realise rule number 1 is true.

Hehe I quite liked sitting at the stop watching the buses. I was completely horrified by how many services just didn't run though.... I use this service and often feel like I've been waiting forever for the bus. When you actually keep track of them... A service that's every 10 minutes had 25 minutes where none came. I think I'll be using that a lot less
