    I'm having a problem with Retail Maxim too - I can't get the page with the questionnaire to open so that I can fill it in, the page just 'jumps' but nothing opens, I've tried holding Ctrl while I click on it but nothing happens - Its got overdue written on their website too. Anyone know what to do?

    I'm new to this game, but have noticed that TNS are not paying me the promised £3 expenses for the Fast supermarket jobs....is this a normal?

    They started doing that with me. In addition, they are refusing to pay for a job which they say was not done properly which is absolute bull. As a result, I no longer do these jobs for them. Beware!

    Im new too & so far the only jokers not paying & discrediting good work have been retail maxim (they said id been discovered as a mystery shopper which is rubbish because since then ive had genuine follow up calls from the flooring shop) & gapbuster who have a problem with a fast food client whose managers are scuppering the shops.
    Ive found esa best payers & bare 2nd best the rest are good also and the longest wait has been for frontline focus

    I have to agree with the gapbuster problem with regards to the golden arches client. Sooner or later, anyone who does the job properly will get the sack for this client unless gap have a shortage of shoppers in your area.

    Newbies -

    Save everything you are given, sent or buy.
    Write everything down, phones, tablets and laptops do fail or get lost.
    Save every email, that means every one, that way you have all the information you need.
    Read everything you agree to, MSC's don't pay if you don't stick to the brief.
    Back up your phone/tablet/laptop, you loose the information the tax man will hammer you.

    Reputable companies do not try and rob you, they do however deal with hundreds of jobs every week, it is your responsibility to check everything, twice.

    It is also your responsibility to make sure you have all the details you need when you take a job, just winging it usually means you'll get found out, not do the job right or totally screw it up.

    Also to the shopper sat in an MF meat pub, completing the questionnaire on your tablet in the restaurant, the staff spotted you, played you like a piano and were even talking about you quite openly not 5 foot away, you are a disgrace to shopping.

    </sunday rant>

    Haha - makes it easier for the rest of us I suppose if staff think that's what they've got look for! :rotfl:

    I'm a write everything down kind of person, but even then, my diary goes on the scanner or in front of the camera at the end of every week to be "backed up".
    Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
    Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?
