    Yay, longer deadline for once...

Just wondering, which other companies are as good as MF - Which do you get the most jobs for/pay most/are least labourous?
(i've already signed up for BARE, TNS, GAP, GFK)

    Thank you :D

As good as MF for what? They are generally considered one of the worst... read page one of this thread, lots of companies listed there, it will have to be your own trial and error as to which works for you...

Seriously? Why? They pay alright, they allow you to chose the location and filter which means it comes into your homepage rather having a (really annoying) job search like GAP. Also, they usually have jobs even though, I have a few filters, while TNS and GAP don't have jobs (as i've experienced - even though I live in London)

What are peoples' personal favourites?? What makes specific other companies better than other specific companies...

    Thanks :)

This question gets asked a lot...

It's totally dependent on where you are, what you will do and how much effort you put into signing up and pursuing jobs. Every single MS'er has a different experience.

Do bear in mind that this is also a competitive marketplace and whilst people are happy to help with generalities, people will generally protect their own income sources.

So which company pays best/has the most jobs available?

Read the thread, hang around on the companies job boards and have some patience, no one is going to give a newbie all that info from the off.

and if you are looking for easy jobs then stick to MF other companies want you to work for the money.

Ha ha thanks I needed a laugh this afternoon.
They pay alright for pocket money or a reduced lunch. They dont pay enough for me to pay my bills.
I get jobs offered by phone or email personally generally rather than fastest finger first like MF. I negotiate rates depending on the job, volume and distance. I currently turn down more than I take on yet still do this full time.
in london there will be LOTS of other experienced shoppers who you will be competing against who have spent time building up relationships with agencies over years. It is a little niave to expect them to just list them to you and in essence reduce their work load. As stated jobs that pay well, and yes tripple figure jobs still exist, generally require you to work for them, not give minimum effort.

Perhaps you may also like amber arch... they are always on the look out for people to do their visits

I'm still new to all this but from my experience over the last 3 months, I would say that MF/RE have the best interface of all the companies I've signed up for and I prefer doing jobs for them BUT I would agree that the fees really aren't what they should be for the work required in most cases.

In the beginning I would take almost any job just to see what they were like but now am far more picky. Thankfully I'm just doing this for fun and not to make a living.

I do like the work and like to do a good job to a high standard but the fees for all the companies I've experienced so far don't really encourage this.

That's a little extreme for a free burger isn't it? :rotfl:

I just miss being pampered by the Burger staff. Better service than a 5* hotel because they know that a single person asking for a basic meal with a receipt is a guaranteed mystery shopper!

I miss my tray being carried, balloons being issued to the children, friendly conversation about whether I enjoyed my meal, the door being opened for me or assistance in the toilet. (ok maybe not the last bit but I usually get the rest).

Now I am not a mystery shopper, they treat me like all the others. No service at all. :-(

Well there's no harm in still asking for a receipt and acting like you might be a mystery shopper ;)

It is funny how they suddenly change into super burger staff the minute you utter those magic words "can I have a receipt please?" :D

    This :rotfl:

i had mine freshly made (which would have actually messed their timings had i been a shopper), carried to my table after being told to take a seat and then she came and asked if everything was ok with my meal too afterwards
