Has anyone ever submitted a gfk report and forgot to change the fee claim from £0.00.
I wondered if they still paid you okay?0 -
I have - I emailed them with the job number and they amended it. Not sure what would have happened otherwise. Only takes a minute to send them a message

Were you offered any sauces? If so, what was the sauce and did you accept it?
They've just emailed to say that that if I'm not happy then they're more than happy to close my account with them.
Cheers for the last 5 years Gap.
The client might think they have Identified you and then they might not be happy with the times you submitted.cross stitch cafe #90 UFO's 6 to finish in 2013, and loads of new kits to boot

I guess that's a possibility but I was certain on my times. I can't really commit to the 12 hour thing if they email in the middle of the night and don't want to risk losing money on jobs in the future so it's probably for the best if I don't do any more work for them.0 -
The client might not be happy with the times you submitted and sometimes they challenge them and see on the CCTV to see if they can identify you so they can challenge your times.cross stitch cafe #90 UFO's 6 to finish in 2013, and loads of new kits to boot

I've just checked my personal emails for the first time today during my lunchbreak and have discovered that Gap sent me a query on a burger assignment at midnight last night and because I didn't respond within 12 hours the whole assignment was cancelled! I understand the 12 hour rule but surely if the query is sent in the middle of the night they should allow a bit of leeway?
I've sent them an email asking them to reinstate the assignment so I can respond to the query, do I have a chance of them doing this? The 12 hour rule has always been fine for me but if they're going to send out queries at midnight on a weeknight there's no way I can guarentee I'll be able to respond in time!
They did this to me too for a job last month - email was sent at 11.50pm but luckily I checked my email first thing and replied, naturally also complaining about the time the email was sent vs the 12 hour limit. Didn't get any futher reply so I assume they got what they needed.
The annoying thing was it was a lunch time job and I did the report as soon as I got home so they had all afternoon and evening to send a query back to me but instead waited until 11.50pm.
I thought they were just being picky trying to find a reason not to pay and hoping I wouldn't answer in time, as I'd asked for a larger premium since they were getting desperate to get them done - cynical moi?0 -

Apparently I did this on my first (and so far only) one - I still don't remember seeing the fee claim page but apparently I hadn't put the fee amount in there wherever it was.
I didn't get paid when I was expecting to so I asked them when I could expect payment and they told me I hadn't completed the claim part correctly but that they had updated it and I would be paid in the next pay run.
Was paid fine after that.0 -

I did the job on Monday lunchtime and didn't get the query until midnight on Wednesday which I think is taking the pee anyway. I'm pretty cynical too, I hate the thought of them using a report I'm out of pocket for but it wouldn't surprise me if they did.0 -

That is really bad - no wonder you're hacked off. If it was so urgent they should have at least sent a text message to notify you there was a query pending if no actually called to speak to you.
They are happy to call when they need a job done in the first place - they called me the other week asking me to do a really urgent job the next day that was 60 miles away!
They offered to pay mileage but since I don't have a car I jokingly asked whether they'd cover the cost of a car also - they guy saw the funny side of that
He seriously thought I might consider taking a train for 1.5 hours each way just to do a burger job! All this in the middle of the bad rain and floods which was shutting down some rail lines
Funnily enough I declined:rotfl:0
