Iphone 5 £529
I'm paying £15 a month for my 600 phone, 6000 text & ayce data currently, service only sim.
3 are doing 500 phone 5000 texts and ayce data for £34 which is an extra £19. 19x24 is £456 if my maths is correct, then £79 for handset making a total of £535, an extra £6!!!!!!!0 -
But for £6 a two stage repair service if you cant get to a Apple store 3 will collect & return it.
I'd call 3 and see as a existing customer if they could maybe throw on a unlimited landlines &/or 3-3 calling bundle for the loss of your 100 mins & taking a 24 month term.
Then your £6 overspend per 24 month term is a massively great investmentSO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
Good idea, thanks, I was going to cancel because of the bad signal so might phone to cancel and see what they offer. Apparently theres a box they give you for the signal?
for £36 they are offering 2000 mins 5000 texts, ayce data and 5000 3 to 3 calls. still £79 for phone.
If you don't mind me asking, whats a 2 stage repair service? I dont have any insurance currently except with my bank account.0 -
Yes, http://www.three.co.uk/Privacy_Cookies/Terms_Conditions?content_aid=1220473080021
3 throw one in if you sign a non month to month longer contract & signal is bad at home, do this after you get your new handset or else they prob try to not give you a bundle/s with a HOME SIGNAL box included as a retention deal
I's ask for a unlimited landlines bundle as a existing customer from retentions &/or perhaps a mms/pic text bundle to convince you to come off month to month for a 24 month contract since you will have 5000 3-3 mins with that One plan you posted above.
You can get a repair through two ways:
Apple store
3 customer care
Buying direct from Apple only allows Apple repair, 3 will collect & return to any address you ask not just the one on your account. So whichever suits you can choose how to have any repair handled based on your situation, work collect - return home/work another address, or if you are near a Apple store when out of town perhaps (assuming you are not near one like most the population).SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... for a phone that seems a bit steep.0

Currently worked out my "best option" and it's slightly surprising after adding up all the options...
Currently free, on o2 simplicity with an iPhone 4.
iPhone 5 64gb : 24mths (hmm) x £26 - unlimited texts and calls + 1gb data + £399
Works out cheaper than keeping my £20per month simplicity and buying outright (£699) though that would mean i'm not locked in. The new rolling simplicity locks you in 12mth tho you get unlimited text/calls/1gb0 -

This is for basic 3G service - if you want 4G from EE it WILL cost more and you will need a revised contract with EE although Orange/TMobile will allow you to switch free (I think that is a legal obligation anyway). I think they are using the words to imply that it won't cost you anything extra to switch to 4G which is obviously not the case!
How will it cost you more if the revised contract is free?
EE have categorically stated that if you get your 4g from Orange or TMobile - you can switch at no cost.

If I didn't have £205 of payg credit on O2 I reckon I'd have slightly more choices.
So either £599 handset + £20 pm 12 month contract = £1079 for 2 years
OR £359 handset + £26 pm 24 month contract = £983 for 2 years
OR (us the money to pay 3 months of mortgage payments!!!)
Those figures are for 32gb version (thought I'd treat myself!) Just can't decide if it's worth saving £96 but tying in to a 2 year contract! If only there were 12 month O2 contracts!!0 -

payg credit can be transfered when changing to a o2 monthly account, about the only useful thing o2 ever did do for me.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies...
