I've pre ordered the 16Gb at £529 to use with my existing contract but O2 don't seem to be dishing out Nano SIMs for people like me. They've told me they are only sending out SIMs with the phones!
 Been smoke free for 4 years!!
  • That is disappointing about o2. I have tried to call them today to see if I could get a nano sim for my simplicity tariff but the phone lines must be so busy that the recorded message simply says we cant take your call.
Desperately trying to get debt free!

Since the iphone leaves the factory at around £5 / unit, that is one hell of a mark up, even after all shipping costs etc etc.

Not quite sure what my impending marriage has to do with O2's crap service.... but if I don't get what I want from them I shall vote with my feet. My contract is only £120 to pay off so can quite easily leave!

Typical two year total cost on Orange/TMobile are a total of £973 for the cheapest iPhone5/contract to £1353 for the most expensive. This is for basic 3G service - if you want 4G from EE it WILL cost more and you will need a revised contract with EE although Orange/TMobile will allow you to switch free (I think that is a legal obligation anyway). I think they are using the words to imply that it won't cost you anything extra to switch to 4G which is obviously not the case!

It seems like you can just get a nano sim in store and then swap your number across.

How hard would it be to put that on the iphone 5 o2 page, they are an incompetent bunch, & I gave them 3 chances on 3 contracts, same old same old...
