iPhone 5 - what are we expecting?
Comments

Larger screen size, thinner product. I always expect something from left field that has been kept under wraps as well, no idea what it will or could be.
Facetime over 3G has been muted as well.0 -
Lol @ FaceTime over 3G
I had the ability to video call on 3 many many years ago. All of a sudden, Apple rename it, and now folks get very excited about this 'new' innovation!0 -
Yes it is interesting to see the release.
It's one phone against all android, windows phone and all others.
Some how Apple have been able to keep the intrest going with one phone, no other company have been able to do that.
The price for sim free will be same as Samsung S3 around £500.
Even the Samsung said that IOS is better then Android. The comment from a company who do Android phones says something. I am sure the comment from the Samsung a day or two before the release of iphone 5 will generate more sell for Apple.

Yeh im really looking forward to the event tonight. Will you be buying the next iphone or getting it through a network ?
Unfortunately I upgraded a couple of months ago to the S3. However, I am a keen watcher of techology and love these big launch events. If its really impressive, I may be pursuaded to trade in... I love the S3, so the next iPhone will have to be incredibly impressive to convert me.Kate Long

lol at the article TGM linked.... Samsung said that to try to sway the patent decision but Apple themselves denied that their system is better. Its like the UK judge decided that Samsung is not as cool as Apple's device (though I preferred the S3 look than iPhone).
Samsung win either way, Apple's sales goes up, their revenue goes up; equally, Samsung's revenue goes up when their own devices sell well.0 -

Did you actually read the article you keep linking? In a bizarre twist, however, Samsung has sheepishly admitted that Android's multitouch software is simply not on par with Apple's efforts, calling the feature a "very nice invention", Macworld reports.
Apple, unsurprisingly, disputed the claims from Samsung's lawyers, saying, "They [Samsung] suggest that they have a lesser solution, but that is simply not true."
So Samsung (who you appear not to like) suggested that Apples implementation of Multitouch is better than Androids, And Apple (who you do appear to like) said that that was not true, (I got from this that they thought Samsung's implementaion was either equal or better than Apples.
So which is it. Do you believe Samsung that Apple's is better or do you believe Apple?0 -

Apart from the free case they gave to everyone when the iPhone 4 came out.0 -
No other company has tried to do that. Other companies innovate and move on.thegoodman wrote: »Some how Apple have been able to keep the intrest going with one phone, no other company have been able to do that.0 -

That was for a design fault apple made. They initially asked user to hold it in a different way but decided later that giving out a free case will possibly keep their fan base going.0
