They are still sending these out, now in the Salisbury area: One arrived in post yesterday addressed to Mr/Mrs and our address. The voucher had a local Salisbury 01722 number to call so didn't seem to be a phone scam so pondered ringing: Thanks to previous posters for all info on what normally follows if one does.

Maybe we should all ring them up and make a list of all the dodgy gyms to AVOID!! Even if I was looking to join a gym now, I would purposely avoid this one because of its involvement with Surveys UK. ABOSLUTE RIP OFF.

I'm in SE2 as well and got one today. Don't need to call it now. Ironically was going to join a gym end of this week but will likely go for one near work.

I'm in DA7 which is next to SE2 so looks like they have done a dodgy deal with a gym in this area and are targeting the areas surrounding Welling.

Someone must be making money out of this con as it's been going around the country for some time now.

This company is now targeting Stockton on Tees -I received a letter today, more of a small compliments slip actually-I thought they'd sent an empty envelope at first!

It just states "This number has drawn one of the free gifts donated by local businesses. Total value of gifts exceed £12,400. Please phone 01242 695001." On the back it states "Gifts are donated to promote local business. They are free with no commitment." That bit is highlighted in the letter. Surely if that is the case they can't then enter you into a three year contract if there's no commitment?

Anyway it's gone in the bin, I wasn't tempted to ring up and ask!

Just thought you'd like to know that I haven't received any correspondence telling me I'd won a prize, but over the last few days have received phone calls from Cheltenham 695001. I was out for the first one, but answered the second one. I took the call and after I'd answered with my number, there was silence and the line went dead. Am I being suspicious in thinking that they're trying to find out if anybody lives at this address and now they know, I'll be next in line for a "free" gym membership?
