Received one of these today too, addressed to Mr and Mrs (left blank) and our address. Wouldn't have rung it anyway as am always suspicious of these things but glad to have been directed to this thread to confirm my suspicions. Mine states minimum amount of local gifts is 46, expires 29th Feb. The thing that annoys me about this type of letter (La Redoute and Verbaudet etc do it too) is how they try to make it look as if parts of it are handwritten (by using different typeface etc) thus making it seem more personal and therefore plausible that it is an actual prize and not a scam :mad:0

Got one of these this morning as well. I hate my address being out there like this. I'm always careful on ticking the right boxes.
Mine says Local gifts available: 45, expires on 11th March. in the bin it goes.0 -
I've just returned mine to the address on the bottom of the ticket.Struth, I think I may have forgot to put a stamp on the envelope before popping it in the box.Still they may pay to accept it eh!0

Well we got one today, addressed to Mr Mrs
That made me suspicious so I checked here first
I am tempted to phone and if they offer me a Gym membership, will explain I am disabled and in a wheelchair and what facilities they have for wheelchair users.
Might be able to threaten them with discrimination under the DDA.:cheesy:0 -
I got one of these last week,it went straight in the bin.0

I got one in the post this morning, again addressed to Ms/Mrs and the address, advising me that I've been allocated one of at least 29 local gifts...
I've got until the 14th April to claim, but why is there no date stamp on the envelope ? Surely even if the envelopes are franked they should have a date on...
A colleague living down the road mentioned his partner had "won" a gym membership which required a small weekly fee for "wear and tear" a few weeks ago and so I'm guessing they got the same note.
Mine will be going into the bin now...0 -
Ok Guys, thought i'd investigate properly.
Ok gave them a call they said "My computer says youve won a free gold membership, bla bla, GREAT GYM, TOP OF THE RANG STUFF LOOKS REALLY COOL ON MY COMPUTER , Gold membership worth £750!!!"
Said all i needed to pay was merely £3.87 a week. So £15.50 a month.
I then called the gym but didnt mention the voucher.. They dont do gold memberships. their top rate is £220 a year not £750. So £18 a month. Its an awful gym that couldnt get enuf customers in, in a rough part of the city.
So the amazing saving of £564, which "Survey Uk" said u'll get. Is actually a saving of £33. And you get tied into a 2 year contract at a skanky old failing gym.
My Advice.. Throw the damn voucher away
Hope this helps.

Got mine this morning all the same as above, no names etc. Always cautious about this type of tripe hence the search for Survey UK. Looks like I have missed the boat my expirey date is 28 Apr 2008 nealy a month out of date. As I get a Gym membership with the Job I think they can whistle. Nowt for owt nowadays0

Got mine today too. Unfortunately I phoned them before googling as I do surveys online and thought it might be genuine. How wrong was I!
They even put me on hold whilst they 'searched the system' for the gift I had drawn! Surprise, surprise I had won a 'Healthier Lifestyle Gift Package' at my local gym, worth, yes you guessed it £750!0 -
One of these recieved today in Colchester, 41 prizes which expires on 30 May, i already go to what i consider the best gym in town, so in the bin it goes.0
