I to have just been in the same senario as you are going through and its a pain.
your car is over priced that is why its still on your drive fact,
how can i tell this you say without seeing the car, well after trying to sell the exact same car for 6 months i decided to trade it in and take the hit,
mine was an 07 320d in gleeming black which had just turned 50k it was an se with many extras and nice 17in wheels, i dont use this word lightly but it was mint,
6 months ago i put it in autotrader at £8950 as i was told its worth 9k by a dealer, over 4 months i listed it on gumtree ebay and autotrader and all this did was remove more money from my wallet.
In the end i got fed up and just traded it in for another car and managed to get a shocking £6750 for it after a bit of bartering,
I half expected it to be on the garages lot for 9k but no he has it up at £8295
I guess the market for beemers has fell through the floor and when the 3000 odd from the olympic games come onto the market they may even drop a bit more,
this car must be the worst i have ever bought as it has lost me more than any other car i have owned infact it may well have put me of BMW for life.
but hey ho thats second hand cars for you0 -
Is this one of the BMWs with keyless entry?
If so I'm sure someone will be along to take it off your hands soon.0 -
people are always buying cars, but depending on how common the car is, what the mpg is (important on used cars, as most people are on a budget and fuel eficiency is a issue).
BMWs have reliability issues after a cetain mileage. They are fun cars but they need contstant work done to them about 100K miles or so.0 -

I would say se models aren't as desirable and at similar money some would prefer newer and non bmw0

Thats stating the obvious though isnt it, as otherwise everyone with £9,000 to spend would be buying 5 year old BMWs?0 -

What does SE get you on BMWs? In my VW I got some lousy rear passenger cup holder, steering wheel remote, drivers arm rest, and cruise control. But that is a 10 year old vw.0
