Super post HDK - sounds like an "interesting day" - did the red girlfriend serve any purpose or was she just there to massage his ego?

She was very much like the lady in a gameshow pointing at things, and writing things on a poster, but then right near the end she spoke, only for about 5-10 minutes but she drew this triangle. Environment on the bottom, relationships, money etc then at the top it was your behaviour. she said that you can change anything below each tier but it wouldnt affect the tier above. So if you had a bad relationship, you could change your environment, ie go on holiday / move house etc, but it wouldnt change the relationship, so you still wont be happy. She made more sense in those few minutes than the bloke had all morning. REALLY scarey dresser though, suspect she did massage things...

He had 2 marriages and both times split due to his cheating, this GF was significantly younger than him and they met at one of his seminars. Did i mention his wild hair....


Pay day, done the money shuffle and OP cheques ready to post on Thursday. Got an extremely good pay slip, just wondering if theyve messed up my contracts.... Was gutted when saw wage slip number 1 but have 3 online so woohoo, as equalled an exceptionally good one. Although must say, absolutely crackered and still 1 more long day tomoz and its currently absolutely canking it down with snow and I live in a village and drive a skip... plus already had 1 snow related incident.
My tyre was done for £44 - is that good?

Thanks Tilly and Lois. Will set off early and take fleece. Doing job 2 which is a lone worker role so have to get to work as previous person can't leave till I have taken over. Did I mention its an Overtime shift... never get them... hence said yes please that will do nicely, although a lie in....?
Music cancelled again tomoz so DH reckons hes getting up on sunday and dont wake him when i get in as he'll still be in bed!

Set off an hour early to work and just made it in time! As tres heavily snow. Wage slip 2 and 3 and thank god make sense and not been overpaid, little whit woo dance. Im not boasting, as clearly have no idea of your wage slips but this month I have earnt more than ever previously by a substantial amount so on a purely personal level.... YAY!!!!

Do feel have worked stupid hours this week, perhaps maybe too many...? eyes bloodshot, could sleep for a month, been at work 7 days straight and included at least 4 12.5 hour shifts... mmm??

This coming week lubly (as dd3 would say) in mon,tues,fri as nasty horrid birthday Wednesday. Spa, theatre and sno tubing booked.Advised both areas that Wednesday is completely out of bounds-- " feel free to ring me however phone OFFICIALLY switched off ... please feel free to find someone who cares!!" Also cant carry mobile phone in swimsuit as otherwise clearly would love to help! Sounds harsh buy hey, booked this 40 years ago...

Job 2 today slipped into new job as short staffed and managed to help for a couple of hours (whilst in job 2 .. please keep up..) so earned uber brownie points with them whilst still doing job 2, hopefully job 2 manager won't notice that did more on there then anywhere else. However "reasonable" to help struggling area. If new area would have rang me at home (and Id have been at home) In would have gone in but as staff not used to me, they hadnt. So brownie points??

Thanks Lula. I looked in my work bag the other day and it was nasty. Need to sort.

Very busy day
Zumba cancelled again but up now so cracked on with cleaning. Done all the washing and ironing, last few bits still airing on radiators, had a furniture move around, batch cooked 6 evening meals and lots of dinner pasta pots. Also cleaned out the dreaded stickie tanks, took ages as they are naughty,especially Mr Groovy, who kept trying to sneak off. Then fetched dd1 from her county band, its 35 mins each way (DH took her and we do one trip each) and they had closed several roads as flooded so was magical mystery tour.

Right going for a lovely spa bath to get me in the mood and taking my book.
