  • Been doing all week, taking out in morning and eating that day and no ill effects. Sure was told that freezing low fat yogurt is a slimming world trick (although the idea is you eat frozen as an ice cream substitute as its "free" )
Plan to stock up my SP ones as only doing intermittent asda runs (for their stuff which is "cheaper"

Yes, fortunately was wearing work clothes and fleeces. No pjs in sight!

Had nice day today, with lots of banter and team work. Made day go fast.

Yes it is. And another SW tip if you have a sweet tooth is to freeze grapes :T.

No, I don't think the sell-by date matters if they're frozen, as long as you eat them on the same day you defrost them. :)

Managed to get to work yesterday after over an hour, overall thought I did well, as DH ended up coming home and trying again mid morning and all kids school closed), first day on new area, left at 7.30pm... is this a bad sign? Have my 3rd long day on a trot today, as have a job 2 ot shift this evening, back for a normal 2 shifts then 2 more long days (68.5 hours excluding breaks over 7 consec day--what was I thinking!!!). Then next week my job share is on annual leave so will be even more challenging in terms of what i can squeeze into a day, esp as need wed/thu and weekend off (Big Birthday week and have big birthday week things planned). Will be dashing between sites as well today, just to add to the fun, wonder if I can have a nap on the link bus!

At least lots of NSD, although the fruit bowl is empty, so need to mini shop tomorrow after work and before swimming lessons.

Pay day friday.... May have mentioned.

Batch food defrosting for DH and kids tea.

    Thanks Mc.
Feeling a wee bit tired and had earache for a few days which doesnt help as thats another reason for being tired (also yawning hurts) as struggled to settle last night. Get a few earaches and tend to be poor on acting on them, only going to GP when its clear its gone way too far, last time needing 2 courses of antibiotics and he was impressed about just how swollen the side of my face was as you cant normally "see" earache! (tend to get otitis). Did a similar thing with a bite that turned into very nasty cellulitis before decided needed to go to gps, and was actually feverish and in lots of pain, however this earache will self resolve... and won't need anything but paracetamol.

Have just got home, so took 2 paracetamol and when have drunk a nice warm brew am off up the wooden hill.

Clearly another NSD as I have been nowhere but work and I'd need a another morgage to buy food there!

Sorry, will catch rest of diaries tomoz,
    Night all

Hope you feel better soon x
  • Thanks Lula. Taking paracetamol and brufen.
Think working stupid hours this week hasnt been helpful!

Having a very naughty mid week glass of wine with some McCoys s and v crisps as a super treat, although crunching hurts!
Tomorrow have quarterly managers day which makes me grumpy as you have to go and the content has been painful recently but tomoz looks like theyve got another "change your life" kind of speaker which normally are fantastic... fingers crossed. Still quoting the last one!
