She was funny, half way round she wanted to go back, I pointed out the obvious. As we neared home, big hill looms, "I can't do that"... afraid you'll have too..! I can sometimes convince her to run round the block (1.5miles) but thats it. DD2 always happy to come to gym though.

Just ordered myself some new trainers. On the positive, I did wait until I had the cash in my amazon account so in essence free. My heels on my current ones had scuffed right down and today I had rubbing, first time ever the starting of a blister (yes I know I'm very lucky). I have a bit of a trainer fetish... so took me ages to pick. Look at these babies..

Fingers crossed you are blister free with those.

I can run through a stitch, tired and heavy legs, rain, hail!! Running through blister pain is almost impossible though!

Its only the start of one but I am mardy and its a good excuse to buy new trainers! I had double stitch (both sides) and both calves felt in full spasm the other week, I was determined to do my set mileage and I was hobbling, grimacing up a hill. Why do we do it??? Was lovely out there today though, Im getting a runners tan.. with complimentary very large watch strap mark.

Running is a huge commitment isn't it but 4 runs is fab. I coild only manage that if I didn't work!! Im enjoying HIIT workouts but only managing to run once a week and doing 4-5 miles. At least you have a goal to work towards. You're sounding really focussed.

I think that this is my one opportunity to do this so I'm determined to give it my best shot. I have lots of self doubt. When I finish a long I am done, game over. I keep thinking just add an extra mile every so many weeks, trying to be positive, less than 10 to add now.... gosh seems huge!!!
When I've done it, I'm just going to drop back to 6-10miles and classes again.

Forgot to share my save. Rac quote 178.99, aa rang, offered 129, rang rac, chance to match, offered 125.99, I say please stop automatic renew, need to think. Wad thinking tcb aa, anyway he then speaks to his manager and I get it for 107.40. So a saving of 71.59. Thank you..
That's another step nearer to mf..
