Think he had 3 lives, he survived the last time when we didn't think we'd even get him to the vets in time. Bless him, was a huge character, who was so chatty and fussy. Can't tell you how upset we all are.

Managed to burn a hole in dd3 top with the iron and spill the whole tin of gloss paint on dd 2 carpet... not sure this week's on my side...

Anyway second coat of emulsion done as well as glossing.. tomorrow it's wallpaper the feature walls.

Dd 1 first day doing holiday work, she was very nervous so hope went ok.

Payday was Monday. Money shuffle takes us to under 9k.

Wallpaper done in dd2 bedroom. Just need lights putting back up, Dave took them down to paint ceiling at weekend. Was too dark to do by the time we'd finished papering. Must say, looks really nice. DD2 well pleased. Just need to accessorise, curtains, quilt cover etc but hopefully buy those with her next few weeks before the bday.
Plus a rug to cover the stain on the carpet.


DD1 completed 2nd day at work. Think was quite stressful as left manning till with big queues.


Tomorrow finish off bits in her room, eye tests for dd1 and 2 (dave and DD3 went earlier in week).. feels like a job lot. plus library and food shop.

Thanks Lula xx So many ways he's not here, my alarm clock goes off and usually I get pounced on with a running jump onto the bed, then help with teeth cleaning, then he'd wait for me (on the stair post) until dressed before racing me to the kitchen. Getting home, met at the door or bouncing through the cat flap. Making himself comfy on my knee or next to us on the settee. Think the saddest bit is dd3, who he slept with every single night in the spot next to her pillow. Frequently she'd be asleep with her hand still resting on him mid stroke. So glad off this week, not sure could be pull together the right frame of mind.


Opticians, library and shop done. Dropped dd1 off at work. Have also sorted my Christmas stuff this afternoon, wrapped everything bought and bagged in family groups. Now have a clear list of how much left to spend on who. Feels productive.
Big girlie shop tomorrow. Giving each a Christmas clothes budget so I avoid buying stuff they just don't want.
