Oh dear, I told you I was useless at them, is an epic work night out on Friday a good enough excuse for having been plank free all weekend?!

Will catch up later today I promise!

HDK I'll try to find that other plank challenge that builds it up a bit slower, don't give up!

Yes please FD, still haven't managed it.... think a more gradual approach would be more achievable!

Oh no, I've led you up the garden path.... It's same challenge just more convoluted in it's presentation! So sorry!

The only thing I can suggest is setting a target and just building to that, do your maximum every night and work to 60s in a few week's time?

Thanks FD. Really enjoying the food and exercise, almost feels too easy although have had a few occasions when my self control has been really pushed. Still miss wine, but chocolate has been easier than I thought.

Spinning today, then friend came for lunch. The big boy seems a lot brighter and he is able to move about ok which is a huge relief, he's such a lovely fella.

Gym for day complete, whilst kids at music lessons. Finding MFP a little confusing, therefore more reading... (yes OCD) as have just read that supposed to consume all burnt calories which was a relief as was a bit hungry (read flaming starving) last few days, not sure why as eating really well but clearly my "net" calories were in deficit. So extra food.. however clearly I am doing ok as consistently losing so hence confusion...

ooooohh I can hear the pay day shuffle... its getting closer....

Hmm, that does sound confusing. I don't use MFP so I can't help but it does make me think that I should rather than guessing, but like you say if our current approach is working then surely the proof is in the... Uh oh pudding!

I have to confess - the plank is getting harder. I'd got up to 52 seconds and I'm down to 30-40 now. No idea why, still doing it regularly but it feels more difficult.

I get the feeling that the planking challenge must require more than just 45 sec exercise a day, or I can't understand how muscles will get any stronger?
