Thanks Tilly, Shala and Tony.
No we havent pet insurance. We have 3 cats so would be quite expensive and tend to avoid extra policies, I dont think we've ever thought we'd face such high bills, its really quite scary as we do so love them.
Ex boss had to have her cat put down last weekend, out of hours vet and cost just under £300. She was in 10 minutes and the cat 22 yo and unconscious.
Just conned him with the slip of the hand, kitbit with tramadol, so at least hes had his meds tonight and is now sleeping, hes a devil to give tablets, I usually wedge him under my arm but this clearly not poss at moment..
No sign of a poo yet....... however less concerned than with lack of wee yesterday and he's eating bits so he can't feel too "blocked".Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Boy desperate for poo, he was desperately scraping litter tray and clearly not happy, so I took him outside, into the flower beds so he could dig and hes managed a little one. Was quite worried about him last night, appeared bloated and tummy painful, I thought we'd be back at the vets today but again the boys a little star. He also tried to get on Daves knee but was clearly too painful. Hes currently fast asleep and looks happier, having had all his meds.
Daves lost another 4lb, his total now lost 1 stone 4lb.
Work still going well, the mood on the ward is like a breath of fresh air, hard to believe just how bad it was just a few months ago. Not just turned the corner, we've now climbing high. Making it the best ward in the Trust is my next goal....
Nipped to gym tonight and managed to run a mile, which is getting a little easier. Had done all my other cardio first but running is definitely really hard and find the most challenging. Going to stick at doing 10 minutes (took 11 to do the mile) but slowly increase speed rather than time to start with. Have now munchies and on 2nd 25ml of rum but been exceptionally good so deserve!Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

We have more now SS and GG!!! BIG POO today, managed to get everywhere but I forgive him. Hes so much happier and am feeling much more positive after a roller coaster week. Hes currently laying in the sun, spread out. Hes been washing himself too so obviously feels better.
Washing line heaving, been shopping, spinning and some chores completed.
Quite significantly overspent this month but that's life and haven't spent anything unnecessarily. At least my OP's keep going and my balance is heading in the right direction. Currently on budget with groceries (could that be the lack of wine.....?)
Bought DD3 kindle fire 16gb from Amazon (birthday in May), used my AGC from credit card points and some swagger, reduced to £99 (£159 before) and actual physical cash, has cost me £20 so quite pleased. Could have waited but is particularly good price, and is the lowest its been. My amazon account now empty but will buy some more bits as earn, have a few things close to pay out. Daves birthday in April but he wants a green house, so will be surfing ebay.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!
