  • Thanks biglass and Lois. Flagged on settee, rum and diet coke. Like old ma hubbard the cupboards are bare, washer on, still have kids to taxi tomorrow or I think would just sleep all weekend.
On the positive, have 3 New nurses starting in March as my recruitment is finally paying off, another 2 hopefully early May. My April off duty is looking very fabulous after a very hard 6 months. Plus my team feels completely mine now and everyone appears settled. We are now definitely upwardly mobile.

Woke early as seems my pattern regardless of sleep needed.
Money shuffle complete, got £70 worth of Amazon vouchers on way from credit card points which is not too shabby. Done a few surveys etc, washing x 5 loads done and on line, ironed the mountain from the utility room, BIG shop so cupboards heaving, also been spinning with Dave. Kids taken and then fetched and feeling like I may have a wee nap (although bed stripped but that wont stop me).

Wow only half way through the day, puts my lazy day to shame.
You must have a HUGE washing line, I can only get 2 loads on my line :)

Well done on the 'team' front.

    5 loads of washing????

Even using our quick wash, that would take me about 4 hours.

Well done HDK, you're a paragon of virtue :)

Exactly! Mine takes 90 mins per load. Must have started very very early.

Unfortunately waking very early, which is frustrating as can only lie awake for short time before I have to get up. With work being so hectic I just lie thinking what needs to be done and in end , just get up. Admit to 3 very long washing lines which made Dave put up after holidays one year, one is used rarely but when on washing frenzy is required. All bedding including quilt covers, towels and general stuff done. Have just finished remaking beds and some stuff still damp so on radiators but even damp stuff ironed so feeling pleased as job done. Dave often says that I'm not happy if my washing machine isn't on...

At work we were talking about how we behave when have a lot on and it was remarked that my speed which is already fairly high, goes up another notch. Made me smile because as we were discussing I was rearranging the meeting room as in my opinion wasn't right for interviewing. Think I am a bit compulsive anyway as if I decide to do something, nothing will stop me... this year's compulsion is skinny me.

Had HM sw chicken fried rice for tea with several extra portions saved for work lunches.

    Had lovely nap,

Up early and to the gym. Managed 15 minute run so very pleased, especially as just finished 60 minutes on cross trainer. Sunday chores now done so have the rest of the day to chill.
Hopefully ward will open tomorrow, have arranged lots of extra bodies to help with the big clean. If delayed till Tuesday will end up working as hopefully off.

Yes, opened last night. Phew! We usually get a big audit sprung on us within a week so something to look forward too....

Another 1lb kicked to the curb, wanted more but still gets me to 1 & 1/2 stone mark. Been spinning this morning, will go to gym tonight.

Nipped shopping for cards (mothers day, bf birthday, etc) plus gifts. Stopped off at my parents as haven't seen for a couple of weeks.
