Not very mfw today... oldest daughters last year at school next year, school trip £850 (!!!!!!) But after thinking about it, have said she can go. It's skiing in Austria next Feb and my thoughts are it is a good opportunity and will be huge for her. Downside is we always do the same for the other 2.....

    Think dd1 skipped to school.

Things generally going right direction with work and weight.

Feel like balance has returned and my job is back in manageable bracket.
Only problem is, when all is calm I get bored..... Still loads to do but now back in control rather than a runaway train.

If things keep going as is, will need another project....

  • Glad things are going well on the work front HDK. 1.5 stones is great...I go spinning too and it has definitely helped shift those pounds that wouldn't go through diet alone. I can imagine your DD was skipping to school alright...I hope to be able to afford for ours to get on one school trip each too..the only difference is we have four kids...better start saving :)

Yes, it soon adds up when you have kids, wabl. Thought we had lots...

Spinning was sweaty, Dave came along again. He usually heads into gym but seems happy to try something different. He's lost 1 stone so he's quite pleased with himself. I really want to hit 2 stone by April, finding it a little easier food wise and its easier err to motivate now started seeing results.

Did my aldi fruit and veg shop, so had a nice big chicken salad for tea. Feeling a bit nibly so had 3 chunks of Thornton fudge from Christmas leftover stash, could happily eat more today, had a bowl of mango but didn't quite take off the edge.

Will get up early tomorrow and go to gym. Definitely getting money's worth.

    Gym and chores done.

Heard loud crying, definitely big boy cat as he does it when he wants us to know he's home but couldn't see him, usually tell him where you are and he runs in for a fuss. Then found in dd1 room, looks like he's been hit by a car, completely full of dust, scratched nose, some cuts to head and a larger one to leg, seems sorry for self but intact but has slept all day in same spot. Dd 1 says we need to move house... his breathing is fine, nothing appears broken but still worried about my boy.

Hope he's ok.. sending healing vibes!

We live on a really busy main road which I hate for the animals but luckily our cat refuses to go out because he's so scared of everything!

Quite bad news, despite climbing upstairs, he's actually broken his pelvis. We were told looking at £1500 -4000 with no promises. Decided that couldn't not try something after debate whether to put him to sleep but fortunately took him to orthopaedic surgeon vet, he looked at xray and said really clean breaks and wouldn't recommend surgery but cage rest min 4 weeks and if that doesn't work then surgery but felt that was the absolute best thing fir him. So cage bought on eBay, just done hour round trip, he's home, although appears to be a little spaced from his meds, spent quite a bit of money... but he's still here. Just need for him to wee, he needed help at the vets but was very sore, he still wags his tail which apparently is a very good sign.

Can't believe how close we were to putting him down.
