Day off. Just dropped car off at garage as brakes seem a bit grindy, may need new brake pads etc.
Friend coming for lunch. Have made SW special friend rice. Thought could have leftovers for dinner at work tomoz. Attempting the SW noodley thing for tea, I am a dreadful cook so fingers crossed.
Asda delivery should be here any time. Its a biggy as been doing Aldi last few weeks and so quite low on my SP/asda items so bought lots (tbags, cat food etc)

Got a free £50 experience with phone with car phone warehouse, looked a list and decided to go for a make -up / skincare session, have done the voucher thing and have spoken to lady. Might not be my thing but its free and pamperry, so will give it a go, arranged for early feb.

Thinking about my weight, I can see there are certain things I haven't counted, alpen porridge which is 160kcals or 8 syns which I have every morning, thought it was good being porridge and fruit/nutty. booo .. love my porridge. Also my very nutty cereal HM bars my be another no no.

Work has been very tough recently, just have one more major nasty listed though and then hopefully can breathe again.

Materials Management Saturday... cleaned out all my kitchen cupboards and freezer. Meals planned for week.

Despite large spend on asda, still had to do a fruit / veg shop. My groceries seem to have gone up recently (hence cupboard sort as do tend to over purchase .. 8 tomato purees etc)
Have decided to try the 3 months £15 Asda delivery option. See if that reigns it in but to still nip and buy veggies / fruit elsewhere. Hoping that will make me only buy what we need.

Morning Helen, I always feel positive after emptying, cleaning and sorting my kitchen cupboards

I'm on a mission to use up stuff from the fridge - jars etc.

We went to the market on Friday - years ago we shopped there every Saturday for fruit and veg - I'm tempted to go back and do it again as the prices were very keen.

Chores done (except ironing) and have just helped fetch loads of old railway sleepers from Dave's friends house, flipping back.... but done and a super freebie for his veggie garden. Although laying them is a job for another day.

Had bacon, poached eggs ands loads of mushrooms for dinner, trying to be good.

HDK, free railway sleepers are a fantastic find, my parents paid through the nose from them when they had their garden re-done and paid to source them :T

Yes, he's really pleased. They weighed an absolute ton but worth the effort. The bloke offered and he wanted to fetch them before he changed his mind. Just got to get them to the bottom of garden.
